I don't have a lot of room for gym equipment and to have a dedicated weight bench that is always taking up room is just not a possibility for me. When I saw this I thought that maybe it would work out for me. My main worries were that because it was portable and meant to be moved around that it might be flimsy. I also worried that because I am 6 foot 4 inches tall that it might be too small for me. Both of those fears were totally unfounded. First of all it is very well built and very sturdy. My second fear about it being too small for me- well, let me just say that while I was assembling it I noticed that you could put the headrest on in two different positions, one of which gave it a few extra inches of length. After trying it, I had to move it to the shorter position because it was too long for me! Assembly was very easy and at first I was concerned because it was kind of floppy when folded up. At first I thought I could put a bungee cord around it to keep it together while moving it folded up. Then as I was reading the instructions more closely I realized that there was a pin that you removed, move the bracket over, and then replace the pin into a different hole and it held the whole unit firmly together. In my pictures I have included a composite picture to illustrate that feature in case you miss it like I did. This thing is great, it folds up to take up very little space making it perfect for my needs. You can set it up very quickly again when you need to use it. It is adjustable to configure it in any position that you might want. I can't think of anything that I would have done to make it any better. I highly recommend this weight bench! To help understand how I rate items: My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON'T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don't take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product: ***** Five stars - The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed. **** Four stars - The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed . *** Three stars - The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don't like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative. ** Two stars - The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it. * One star - The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.

This is sturdy no frills workout bench. It’s easy to assemble and relatively compact when folded. The unit comes mostly assembled and all you need to do is to install the head and footrest and insert the pins to secure the unit. YMMV but you may want to check the bolts for the seat and the backrest as they may need to be further tightened. Unfortunately, the included tools did not have the wrench for the smaller nuts holding the backrest. Adjusting the backrest incline is easy as all you need to lift it and seat it on the bolding bar. It doesn’t fold quite compact and it doesn’t stand by itself so you’ll need to have it resting against a wall but overall, being able to put it away is a great feature. Overall, great workout bench!

Have you ever ordered something and expected something mediocre shipped to you? I have, too many times to count, even though you really don't like just mediocre stuff. The Seek n Soar Adjustable Weight Bench for Home Gym arrived in PERFECT shape, very well protected for such a heavy item. And speaking of heavy, the manufacturer used top-of-the-line materials through out. From the thick metal tubing, to the thick vinyl cover with the perfect and awesome stitching, to the well thought out assembly and many articulated positions this baby can get in. If you have a set of dumb bells and a few elastic strength bands then you have virtually a complete gym in a solid and easy to move around work bench. This particular unit does come with a set of elastic strength bands that attach easily to the frame for rigidity and support. If you add additional bands to the ones included you can really up your game with an intense workout. I particularly like that the bench seat lays perfectly flat for resting a knee on and doing 'rows' with a dumb bell or kettle bell. Incredibly you can quickly set the back portion to one of eight favored positions, by simply repositioning a spring-pin in one of the side holes in the frame. Very easy to change positions within mere seconds, that's cool. The cushioning is soft, but not squishy soft, more of a firm soft....if that makes sense. PLUS, with a few adjustments and pin removals this bench will fold up virtually flat, about 12" thin, and I bet you could even push it under your bed frame in the bed room. Super, Super Impressed with this weight bench. It comes with a wrench, screws, and spring-pins, and VERY clear and concise assembly instructions. Start to finish it took me less than 5 minutes to have this baby assembled and ready to torment. Last item, the price. I don't know HOW they can make such a well made quality piece of exercise equipment and sell it for what they do. BEAUTIFUL. RUGGED. VERSATILE. BARGAIN. Nice!

The weight bench was really simple to assemble, taking approximately 15-20 minutes including unpacking and reading instructions. It is incredibly durable and easy to store. I was quite impressed with the quality of this bench. The only drawback was that the installation of the resistance bands was not included in the instructions, so I had to refer back to the listing and the photos to figure it out. Other than that, it's an excellent weight bench.
