*Update - I have been using this bench 3-4 times a week since ordering and it is great! The only thing is that the bench pad has a slight wiggle to it but may just need tightening as weight has been placed on it (200body weight with 235 on the bar), but that is getting very bit picky as it is a very slight wiggle. I am very pleased with this purchase! I just got the bench at about 11:30 and after moving, unboxing, and putting it together, it is now only 1:15. Very simple building process and comes with multiple wrenches to make sure you have the tools needed to put together. It seems very solid and not wobbly when lying back on the bench. It adjusts easily and the pins spring click into place when adjusting position, so no need to push them in. I didnt have any issues with bolts or nuts not fitting each other which was a relief. As someone who is 5’8” I will note, the bench does seem to sit a smidge higher than the ones I am used to using at the commercial gyms but definitely not a deal breaker. Once I get my home gym up and working within the week I can give a more functional review with more than body weight being applied to it.

I’ve been using this bench for about two weeks now and it’s been great. Originally I had an Olympic ethos bench but it was taking up too much space in my basement and was not adjustable. I was looking for something just as stable but also be able to adjust for incline and be easily moved in and out of my new power rack whenever I’m doing squats, dips etc. This bench has surpassed my expectations. Easy to adjust, easy to move, and easy to assemble. It took me just under 20 minutes to assemble. I used my own tools for assembly but the wrenches provided are much higher quality than what usually comes with items and will work just fine for assembly. Cushioning is sturdy and frame is very stable.

Easy to adjust bench with wide footprint for good stability. I've been using this for about 10 weeks now and don't regret the decision at all. As another reviewer mentioned, the back rest cushion does wobble just a little due to the side-to-side play in the curved adjustment arm at the back, so I took off a star for that and for the ankle busting handle extending out the front. I was going to try damping the back cushion a little with some polyethylene foam stuffed into the slot the arm passes through or secured to either side of the angled support, but frankly, it just doesn't bother me enough and doesn't interfere with any exercise I've tried so far. Positives: The footprint is wider than most benches for a firm, hard to tip position Wheels at the rear make it easy to move out of the way if necessary The backrest is very easy to adjust (7.5 degree steps) for plenty of incline/decline The front cushion angles inward at the front which helps if you have short legs for some exercises. Conversely it doesn't give you a lot of surface as a seat compared to some other benches, but It's adequate IMO. My only real complaint is the ankle snagging handle welded to the front section. It does make it easy to lift up and move the bench around on the rear wheels, but there are plenty of other parts to grab for that purpose. It sticks out far enough to reach out and get your ankle if you walk by too closely which I've done a few time now. I'm going to find me a piece of foam tube to cushion it which should help. Failing that, I may just saw it off.

Spent a couple of hours assembling, then disassembling, then reassembling. The directions are not clear. Once together, the base wobbles. Definitely wouldn’t use this for heavy lifts. Then there’s play in the hinge for the incline hardware. The padded surfaces are very light so the foam isn’t very dense and the stitching on the long board is already unraveling. I would probably return it , but it’s not worth the time and I’m not emailing the support contact in China as per the slip of paper in the box. For the money, I’m between 1 or 2 stars. I guess there’s a reason why benches from Rogue and Soren are 5x the price. And Hoist just raised their prices. Happy lifting!

Easiest 5 star review I’ve given to any Amazon purchase. This bench is well worth the price. It is light weight, stable, and very comfortable. It has so many adjustable positions, including 3 that decline. Unlike other benches that say that’s there are multiple decline positions, but actually don’t. The bench is about 18 inches high, and I’m short (5’6) and I can still keep both feet on the ground while bench pressing. The only con I can think of is the handle bar in front. Sticks out like a sore thumb, just be aware. Other than that, this bench is perfect.

It’s good if your a average lifter but once you get to I’d say 250 pound bench it starts to take a toll on the bench I’ve had it for less then a month and it’s starting to wear away on the pegs. Also no matter how you put it together it will not be level me and my brother (has a degree in mechanical engineering) could not get it level even when we weighed every side with plates and screwed it in delicately with a level on it.

Bench was easy to assemble. First use found the bench was tipsy but throwing a weight on the legs made all the difference. I'm going to see if I can get some weight inside the legs then it should be perfect for the cost.
