It's a pretty nice looking bench. Positives: Bench folds up for low profile storage. Weight bar bracket is sturdy. Cool color. Pins lock bench in away position when not in use. Negatives: Looks like it will fold all the way up with a weight set installed. It won't and you cannot use the pin to stow away the bench without removing the weight bar and weights. The cushion on the bench feels cheap and hard. All in all, I would say, it's worth half the price. But I really don't want to return it, and it serves its purpose. It was packed well, with no damage on arrival. It's okay putting it together. Mostly Allen wrench work and provided nut wrench. It will take 30-60 minutes to assemble. I actually thought that the bench came with weights, when I bought it, and surprised that it was just the bench. But that was my bad for not reading more about it. The picture shows the bench with weight on it through, so, possibly the sellers should show a picture of just the bench, so that there is less confusion. ... show more

I purchased this for my high school son, and his review is positive: : This bench is very good for the price. There have been no problems with it and everything on the bench works perfectly fine. It was not hard to build and the instructions were simple and easy to follow. The only thing that could be different is the width of the bench grip. So far love this weight bench. It was pretty easy to assemble, which I did by myself. It took me about 90 minutes. I did put one piece on backwards and had to disassemble and start again. I think the quality is good. The roll pads for your knees good be thicker, but I put a towel across them before I do any leg extensions. It’s perfect for my home needs, I’m not out to enter into any competitions, just trying to improve my health. I belong to a huge health center and I’m thinking of giving up my membership because this weight bench (and some adjustable free weights that I bought) will allow me to do pretty much everything I need. I just assembled the bench which was pretty easy and quick. It seems to be sturdy and good quality. I wish it didn't have the "made in China" painted part on the frame but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do for your national pride (maybe a China requirement). The thing that surprised me is that the actual weights I purchased are plastic coated concrete. Shame on me for not checking this out better though. I may have been in a rush buying this Xmas present so I'm not sure how clear this was but it was a bummer and explains the good price. other than that i think its all good. ... show more
