This 9-foot patio umbrella is a good size for my purposes, and it seems to be well made. I like the light beige color because it blocks the sun from coming in through my sliding glass doors without blocking the light, as a darker color would. The strip of fabric that goes around the umbrella when it's not in use closes with velcro -- I find this a bit easier than tying a bow. NOTE: The holes for the latch are located on the brown part of the pole, not on the silver part. I'm 5'4", and the latch holes are hard for me to reach without standing on a little stool. This may vary with the height of your umbrella base.

I ordered two styles of umbrellas but all the same color for our needs. The umbrellas come boxed and are easy to put together and enjoy. These are not at all the name brand sturdy material that you pay a high price for but they are super reasonable, especially on sale. I am happy with them since I will most likely want a different color in 2 or 3 years anyway. I do live in a place where I use them three quarters of a year so they are heavily used. If you are only using them for 3 months and put them away, they'd last much longer. I am super happy that they come in different sizes and styles in the exact same color.

Great umbrella for the price. Cannot see through the fabric even though it isn't very thick. Hopefully will get a couple of seasons out of this one. Texas sun is brutal on all outdoor fabrics. Seems well made. Heavy and well packaged. Did take a while for package to arrive though.

Love it a lot pretty and large. The material is a bit thin last one we had we still have it has a tiny hole in it hope this one stays strong. Otherwise would give it 5 stars came fast!
