It's has the appropriate weight as I use a heavy base to secure it. No umbrella will be absolutely secured, even closed, when the wind is very strong. In short, it's functional, easy to operate, and I think good value.

Haven't used it yet, but when I pulled it out of the box it seemed very sturdy nice color and loved that the ends are tapered into a safety thing. Update: Finally got it opened, and it seemed great but did notice the handle to open up the umbrella it seems cheap not sturdy strong, like it's going to break while whining it open hoping it doesn't.

Fast shipping and arrived securely packaged. The umbrella was so easy to assemble - just put one pole into the other. The umbrella itself looks to be great quality, however the white is more of a cream. It doesn't exactly match my white & black theme, but I didn't try to return it. It feels pretty substantial and raises and lowers easily. The shaft of the umbrella seems sturdy as well. After putting it up, a wind storm blew it over. The umbrella had no damage at all, so it much be pretty tough! Great umbrella for the money. My only complaint would be to change the color listing to cream & black so others won't have the same disappointment I did when receiving the umbrella.

My husband and I were looking for a new umbrella since The old one we have had a canopy that was getting rough looking and my husband really did want to full with just repacing the canopy, because he thought it would be a nightmare to deal with and most of the canopy replacements are almost the cost of a new umbrella. Now Even though I did go ahead and buy a replacement canopy for my other umbrella, because I found a good deal on one, I still decided to shop around on Amazon for a new umbrella as well and found this one on sale for a really decent price so I ordered it. I unfortunately didn't get a chance to open it right when it was delivered, but I finally got a chance the other night to put it together . This umbrella is really easy to put up ... all you have to do is screw the pole onto the canopy part And it's done . Unfortunately that was one of the features I really didn't like about this umbrella .. I really like the way my other umbrella connected together more. Another issue is I didn't care for how light weight the pole was . it didn't feel like its has much stability to it , but I could be wrong and I'm sure I'll find out if we have any high winds . I also didn't like the part that opens the canopy, because it's super loud when you are spinning it . Other that those things This umbrella is pretty Decent. The canopy feels like nice thick fabric, the color is great and it's nice and big so it will give us plenty of shade in our backyard that lacks trees ! I haven't checked out the Tilt Feature yet,but I will more than likely do an update on it when I get the chance to check it out. Overall not bad , I'm happy with my new umbrella so far and only time will tell if I'm still happy with it !
