After researching several similar products I went for the Ab Coaster PS500 and I'm glad I did. The machine is sturdy and great quality. The machine is easy to use and you can really feel your abs tighten especially when you stand up after a workout. I like how the seat swivels with the twist of your body (no need to stop moving and pull a lock switch like some other brands). I am also very happy with their customer service. Although the machine came carefully packaged I had a small tear in the seat of my machine. I contacted the company and sent photos. They immediately sent a new seat that was also very well packaged and easy to replace. Not only is this a great product it is sold by a company that stands by their products and truly cares about customer satisfaction. Do not hesitate to buy from this company. I am very pleased with the Ab Coaster PS500. Initially, I had received someone else's order (replacement rep counter) instead of the actual unit. I reached out to the company's customer service. They were able to resolve this issue in a timely manner. The assembly was simple and did not take long. The only issue I had was replacing one of the bolts that apparently had fallen out of the box during shipment. Fortunately, I had the correct size bolt in my hardware containers. My husband and I have been using it a few times a week and it really provides a decent workout. We purchased two small bar clips to keep the weights from falling off under the seat. ... show more

It was very easy to assemble. It took about 50 minutes to unpack and assemble. It works great and you can feel it working the first time using it. Like any exercise machine, you must use it to reap the benefits. It's a great way to work abs and reduce waist size. Highly recommend

My first time on it yesterday and I did 50 reps and found it not too difficult and it was fun! I was moderately sore today and am going for a second round this afternoon. I took one star away because the Ab Coaster sign at the front of the machine kept folding in on itself and wouldn’t stay stuck on, right away, and I had to rip it off all together. It needs different adhesive or really, a different method all together to display the product name. ... show more

It was quite easy to put together. The instructions were clear and even included dietary suggestions and tips to help you get the most out of your workout. The only con I see is the track could be a bit longer as I find myself swing back a little too far and hitting the stops on the end. It counts your reps and is easy to reset. It has pads for your elbows so you're focused more on abs than not falling off. It makes very little noise (unless you swing too far and hit the stops on the back). The pads are comfortable and the unit seems stable. You can purchase weights to amp up the difficulty. I would say this is excellent for the price. ... show more

Instructions did not include how to put the seat on. Put it together following instructions and then had to take it apart and start over because nothing told you how or when to put the seat on which is first step. Some of the hardware was missing. When asked if the hardware could be sent, I was told to return product and they would guarantee the next one would have all parts.
