This was the perfect solution...color yellow is beautiful and it shipped quickly...exactly what we wanted...now I will give you advice (or my husband should) because he is the one who built the structure to attach it to...we did big flower pots full of 200LBS of concrete in each pot, thinking this would be enough to hold the sail; however, we wanted it pretty tight with not much give in it, so we had to get anchors and instill to each flower pot which kept the pots from tipping inward...this was more our learning's and had nothing to do with the sail! ... show more

I just recently purchased 3 of the 10x15 ruby red sun sails and am pleased with the results thus far. It’s only been a few days since I’ve installed them so can’t honestly give a rating on water resistance or durability at this time. Only time will tell how they will fare against the Arizona heat and monsoon season in the coming weeks. Main reason for this purchase was to provide some shielding from the heat during afternoon high temps on the west side of my house in which the walls are of brick construction. Since brick retains heat better than other material, this side of the house tends to be warmer than the rest so it made sense to provide some heat deflection. After installing the sails, one could notice a temperature drop standing under the sails. My wife even noted a temp difference in the corresponding bedrooms so this is working as expected for now. Again, time will tell on how well they will hold up. Another benefit is reducing heat stress on my flower/garden box on this side of the house. Last summer’s temperatures in excess of 110 nearly decimated all plants growing in this area. Now that the sails are installed, plants should continue to thrive well into the fall season. The sails have been up for several days and I may have to adjust the line tension to reduce middle sagging. I’m keeping in mind that increasing tension too much can stress weak points thus reduce longevity of the sail so will proceed with careful attention. Overall, I’m satisfied with this product and looking t making another purchase in the near future if all goes as planned. ... show more

We had a sunny patio extension and the sunshade sail works perfectly. It adds a dimension to our outside living area. It’s colorful and blocks the sun in the hottest part of the day and we would purchase again. Installation required 2 4 x 6 posts in concrete. We leaned the posts back just a bit to accommodate any tension that tightening the sail would create. Not much labor or expense involved. Now we have a shaded area in the day and a neat lit area at night for under $100! ... show more

Easy to install sun shade - should have ordered a little bigger for more sun shade coverage but this size also worked well. Not waterproof, but expected this. We use this on our west side of our home over our porch. It makes it cooler in the house and comfortable to sit out there. Good hardware came with it and installation was straight forward. Have another triangular sail over our Koi pond to provide them with some shade. Both have fared well through a hail storm and heavy rains. Great sun shade. Durable and easy to install. Be sure to add enough length for the rope in your measurments. Luckily i did and it fit to perfection. Great UV protection. My skin felt burn free sitting under it during a 100° + day. Set was ok definitely need some strength to pull the shade tight so there isn’t much play. I take it down on really windy and rainy days just because I get scared to see it flop around so much.
