This is just what we needed for our home. There is no cover at the front door. This awning worked out great. It's not complicated to assemble. It comes with easy to follow instructions. Assembly does take a little time to put the awning together. Make sure to pre-drill the wall holes for the mounting brackets. This will make hanging the awning much easier. Awning assembly can be done by one person, but mounting above the door will require additional help. It fits the front door well and provides the rain protection we desired and looks good. This awning was a great idea. I was a little bit worried about the task of assembling it but it really wasn't as complicated as I thought it would be. Everything is pre-drilled and threaded so it went together rather quickly. I like that it was the perfect size to cover a doorway and adds some shelter from the rain. its a one person job to build it but I'd recommend having assistance when installing it onto the wall because of its size and to make sure everything is level. Since it is all metal construction, I expect it to last for many, many years. ... show more

A piece of garbage . I paid so much money and the parts don’t assemble easy or tighten properly. The product is not sturdy, it’s very wobbly. I contacted the seller and they sent me a broken replacement. Thankful after messaging the manager he understood my situation and fully refunded my money back. ... show more

This awning is nice and it works great! We used it over the door at the front of the house to keep the rain and snow from coming onto the porch. It was easy to assemble, directions are clear and easy to follow. It took about 45 minutes to get it set up and attached to the house. I do recommend that you have two people to put this up, hubby was trying to be superman and and dropped it! It worked great to keep the rain out, provided a shade from the sun and it was well worth the price! We would and probably will order another one soon! ... show more
