This Hnemix HVAC umbrella is a total lifesaver! I’ve been using it while working around the Jeep, and it is great for keeping me much cooler and out of those harsh, direct sun rays. The magnetic base is super strong and sticks right to the metal, providing instant, hands-free shade exactly where I need it. Umbrella is mostly okay, but the mount is totally useless.
We finally had a day with almost no wind, for a whole 10 minutes. My HVAC guy has been out several times and kinda likes the girly hat since the umbrella stayed in the truck. Go figure. I tried attaching the suction cup to the compressor base and it fell off nearly as fast as I was able to release the button. Then I wiped down the front, dipped the base into my dog's water pail and tried again. It held, seemingly secure. I stuck in the pole and attached the Umbrella. The base broke free before my hands could reach the slider to open the umbrella itself. There is no wyy this can work in a DYI HVAC install scenario, let alone a professional one, or the stars forbid, someone trying to use it for a commercial environment. Oh, to the manufacturers. never put designs into an area where pressure or a vacuum is going to be needed. It is completely counter-productive. That limited amount of Chinese text contributes to the break in seal integrity. A lot of effort went into making it where the umbrella itself could be attached from multiple angles and positions, but anything other then being 100% perpendicular to the ground will result in negatively added torsion to an already very weak connection point. The same base screwed to a plate that has 3 independently released 100lb pull magnets would provide a much more secure mounting point. As it is, the mount is completely unusable. I was surprised to find the umbrella has been made with fiberglass arms instead of metal ones. I guess this can improve the strength, which is needed in any drafty work environment and the coverage is quite expansive so is needed. The three holes are nice for holding the nylon up, but the last hole is very hard to reach. The holes themselves come pre-bent at the edges to a degree. I am unsure if that was intentional. The grounding spike was nice, but without a grounding nub on the umbrella pole itself, or included wire, it too, has practically no value. And while nearly all HVAC installers have copper wire for that purpose, it would have to be wrapped around the pole resulting in more additional weight. If I could, I would rate the mount at a 0, and give the umbrella itself a 3. The pole though, I like that. Being able to modify the height and adjusted to tilt to many different angles, well that one piece had a lot of thought put into it. It alone made the grade. The included carry bag makes it all easy to transport, but it since it won't stay connected, that point is rather moot.

Fantastic Umbrella Can Be Moved in a Variety of Settings
Instant shade wherever you want it. After a number of severe storms we lost what little shade we had at our house and barn. It truly is versitile and can be used in a wide variety of settings. It’s very sturdy. I was a bit confused when I went to put it together (not my strength) so I broke down and watched the instructional video. It was excellent and I was able to assemble and manipulate into various configurations. The umbrella is well made, sturdy and it provides ample shade. You can use the strong suction to attach to the side of farm equipment and I’ve attached it to my horse trailer at horse shows that lacked shade. We’ve also used it by where my children catch crab and go shrimping. I think this is a great deal for the money and would recommend to my own family and friends. The only issue was the hat. If you need a shade had look elsewhere. The one in this box was perfect to pass around for everyone to try on and laugh. The real value and shade from this portable set is definitely in the umbrella, not the hat.

HVAC umbrella
umbrella used to provide shade when working on the HVAC unit and attaches by magnetic base and suction cup. I found the ground stake more durable and easier to maintain the umbrella. Good 5ft shade on hot or sunny days. Everything folds up in a nice carrying bag.

So Useful And Pretty
This 60" tilting umbrella is very handy to have for a variety of circumstances. We have areas around our house that get full sun nearly all day, and it will be nice to be able to set up this umbrella when working on the house, electrical panel, or in the yard. My husband is going to install some solar panels on the roof soon, and I'm sure that he will use this umbrella to protect him from the sun's rays while he is working. The ability to choose multiple angles is an excellent feature of this umbrella. Another nice feature is the option to either use the suction base or to plunge it into the ground. A strap with a attached carabiner is included for securing to the ground. It was easy to assemble even given the simplified included written instructions; however, I recommend watching the video in this listing before assembly as it is inclusive and informative and will make assembly easier. I had trouble, at first, getting the suction feature to work on my metal patio table, but that was because it is a porous surface, and this suction cup will only adhere to a non-porous surface. This umbrella came with a nice carrying storage case and a rather large sun hat, which are thoughtful touches. The bright blue color of the umbrella is lovely. I am happy to have this and can recommend it.

Works great for gardening to protect you from the sun
I decided to get this portable work umbrella because I needed better sun protection while working outside and wanted something stable that could be positioned exactly where needed. The large canopy provides excellent shade coverage, and the adjustable angle makes it easy to block the sun throughout the day. The magnetic base and suction base both hold securely, which makes it very practical for outdoor tasks and equipment related work. The overall build feels sturdy and reliable, and it is easy to move and set up without extra tools. It stays in place even with light wind and gives consistent shade without constant readjustment. This has been a very useful addition for outdoor work and repair tasks, especially during hot weather. I received this item through the Vine program and have been very pleased with its performance and durability in the portable work accessory category.

Spacious Shade!
I ordered this off season, but can’t wait for sunny seasons ahead! It’s well made with thick material. It’s very large, too, and provides a wide are of shade. Easy to open and set up, and works so much better than a standard patio umbrella. Because it’s so easy to move around, it’s a perfect garden addition, too, for shading plants when the scorching sun is too much.
