I should've listened to the reviews. Ugh. The material is cheap, it's constructed cheap. I wanted to return this, but my husband just kept messing with it.....you have no idea how hard it is to keep the panels in the grooves. Just super cheap. And forget about using the bolts they send with it. Trash! Bought new bolts to use. The awning is hanging after almost 2.5 hours of stupidity. To look at it, I love it. But it's so cheaply made I give it maybe a year. Like I said, I would've returned it gladly, but my husband thinks he can save anything!

I don’t expect the corrugated plastic to last any more than a few years max in the sunlight. We’ll worry about that when the time comes. The bad part - the mounting hardware is garbage. Don’t even bother trying to use the expansion bolts, they’re trash. You will get a far better and more solid mounting if you buy whatever length bolts you will need to get through a wall and then use a nut, lock washer and finder washer on the other side. I would not mount these to brick or a closed internal cavity wall without some sort of fully expanding anchor bolts

This awning just happened to be the perfect width to install on my carport posts. I love this awning. So why did I give it 3 stars? Mostly because of the modifications I needed to do to it to make it reasonably strong. The first thing I did was to throw out the junk screws that came with it to attach the plastic support arms to the 2 aluminum extrusions. I used a more appropriate size #8 x 1 5/8 deck screws I happened to have on hand, which were much better. The second thing I had to do was to install a center brace. Without it, the wind gusts were blowing the panels up to the point that one panel was pulling out of the center 'H' plastic profile piece. I took 2 aluminum yardsticks and cut 1/2" off each one. This made them the perfect length to place one on the top and one on the bottom of the panels, then rivet them together in 5 places. Now the panels stay in place nicely when the wind gusts, with no danger of them coming apart like they did before. These 2 items were glaring design flaws, but fortunately, easily fixed.

Mostly plastic. I thought at least the side supports would be metal but the only piece of metal that’s on It is a small bar at the top and the bottom. Also, it’s not very wind resistant. I honestly don’t expect it to last more than a year.

Easy to put together and install, the only thing they should do different is that the H mold that joins the two pieces of plexi together should be aluminum not plastic , that way you could screw thru the frame into the aluminum H mold and it would hold better…the front and rear trim pieces are aluminum and so should the middle piece trim …but it worked …I installed mine into wood so I did not have to use the anchors that they send that’s for brick or concrete.. I used wood screws …

Purchased in February. Assembled and installed early March. Lasted until mid May and is now coming apart in the middle. I will not purchase this product again. Very disapointed
