Charger might be good, ill never know. First off the app they say to download shows as a virus and my phone would not install it without turning off the app protection. When I installed the app, there are zero directions and it just sits idle. Truck shows no connection and the app will not connect with Bluetooth so back in the box it goes. ... show more

This Level 2 charger delivers 11.5kW on a standard NEMA 14-50 outlet. I plugged it in. It works. The Smart Life app setup is straightforward for scheduling off-peak charging. The 25-foot cable is thick and heavily insulated, but flexible enough to maneuver around a two-car garage. The included J1772 to Tesla adapter is a functional necessity. The RFID swipe cards register immediately with a clear beep on the glossy front panel. It lacks the brand recognition of a ChargePoint, but it charges an EV overnight just the same.
