This product is great ...I have a Tesla model s with a 100 kilowatt hour battery and using this makes me realize you really don't need a level two charger at your house, this is much safer anyway ...it charges at about 1 and 1/2 kilowatts per hour on a standard 120 volt out so in about 10 hours you get 15% and if you don't drive more than 15% every day you can just top up throughout the week and never have to stop at a supercharger The 40 ft cord is longer than most and that is also an added bonus benefit ... show more

This thing does the job. It is of adequate quality in most respects. The thing I don't care for about it is the LCD. the writing is so tiny as the be useless to these old eyes. I'm sure in high-sun, it is perfectly legible... but in the poorly illuminated confines of my garage... not so much.

Two days of charging, then it just stops. Car app shows "plugged in; not charging". Outlet is fine, charge cable console shows power (i.e. LED is on) but no juice. Just a 40ft snake with no bite.

Worked for a couple days and then stopped charging. Also the car plug was difficult to connect and especially to disconnect. EDIT: Increasing my rating from 1 to 4 stars, because in addition to my refund, customer support sent me a replacement of a newer equivalent model that's working better so far and is easier to plug in and unplug. I see the item listing has also been updated to what looks like the newer model. ... show more
