This is a Level 1/2 Tesla Charger with 25 ft long cable. The charger does not require an adapter to plug in to my Tesla Model Y. The long length of the cable makes it easy to charge at home. In my case, L2 plug was not available near by so I used the L1 plug to charge. The charger automatically detected the voltage and started charging. However, when I checked my Tesla app, it thought I was using an extension cord when I plugged in directly to a wall outlet. Regardless, it continued charging but it was very slow. I think this is a good quality portable charger with a competitive price point.

The media could not be loaded. This home charging kit for Tesla vehicles is great quality and includes a lot of valuable extras. The first thing you will notice is it comes in a nice zippered case with velcro to attach to the carpet in the cargo area (comparable to the case for the OEM Tesla mobile charger). It also includes a wall hanger that will hold the coiled up cord when it is not in use if you want to mount it on the wall in your garage. There is a rubber cover to go over the charging port when it is not in use to keep it clean and dust-free ( a feature that the OEM charger from Tesla does not have). The charger lights up to show the current charging status and speed. The charger successfully connected to my 2026 Tesla Model Y Juniper and began charging just like the OEM Telsa charger does. It was able to successfully open the charge port door and the charging light turned green almost immediately. The charging progress can be seen on my car's screen in the video I posted. One thing that is different on this charger vs the OEM Tesla mobile charger is you only have the option to use the included Nema 5-15 or 6-20 adapters (to fit common household plugs). You cannot purchase a Nema 14-50 adapter and plug it into this charger. You would instead have to purchase the whole kit that this company sells for the Nema 14-50. The OEM Tesla charger accepts many different types of plugs and their kit includes the Nema 5-15 (standard 3 prong household plug) and the Nema 14-50 (popular 240 volt garage plug installed for EVs). The Tesla mobile connector kit is currently about double the price, but having the ability to add additional types of plugs (such RV campground plugs or Dryer plugs) to your Tesla charger is a nice feature that this charger lacks. If you are looking for an economical option to be able to slow charge your Tesla in a standard home 3 prong outlet then this is a nice kit with lots of extras that will do the job. It is also a great option to carry for travel at a destination that only has 3 prong household outlets if slow charging will meet your needs. However, if you think you might want to use a Nema 14-50 outlet (or other types of outlets such as campground or dryer outlets), then it might make more sense to buy the OEM Tesla mobile charger which will accept many different adapters.

This is an excellent backup charger that I keep in my car for travel. Keep in mind that if you get the 6-20 version of this you will not be able to fast charge with a NEMA 14-50 industrial type plug. But for trips and top offs and overnight charging this is an excellent charger. Come to the really nice carrying case and stores perfectly under the trunk of my Model Y but also fits in the frunk.

Charger seems to work but the package was destroyed and the storage bag is broken and unusable. The push buttons on the charger are kinda cheap too. But it seems to work good
