I actually love this. If you're realistic about what you're getting for the price, then it's not a bad little setup. It's true that the design/access isn't ideal, but I just put a hinge on the lid and made access that way. I am using it as a chick brooder and it has worked perfect and really made clean-up a breeze. I did modify the legs to lift it up a little higher for storage underneath and just easier reaching in, but there was nothing wrong with the way it was built; just a personal preference. ... show more

I would highly recommend against buying this crate. Urine/water LEAKS FROM THE CORNERS no matter what ground covering or bedding is used. The wood is not in good condition and screws are exposed. I put the crate together and noticed all the issues. Having to take it apart to send it back is just not realistic. I would hope for a refund. ... show more

Can be used for rabbit or quail. Ok for the price. The top does not open which is the major design flaw. Didn’t screw the top down so I could access my quail.

Ok, so I was in a pickle and needed something cheap and quick. Here are the issues: 1. The wood is so cheap and soft, won’t last a year. 2 the design! There is NO way hang a food feeder inside. You can’t lift the top and the small door opens to the hidey house that has no wire walls. You can try to bend your arm and put a bowl into the run but it’s ridiculously awkward and uncomfortable. Basically, you can’t access the main part of the hutch! Which is an awful design. Regretting this purchase but it’s put together now son I’m not returning it. I’ll just hate it everyday until I don’t need to use it anymore lol ... show more

I knew when I bought this I would need to modify it, it’s a really bad design. I assembled as directed (with some extra help from liquid nails to keep it together), but didn’t screw down the roof, instead I installed hinges so I could access the whole hutch. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CAGE. Poorly designed. Dowl holes are on the wrong side putting both doors accessing the smaller compartment. When we tried to move the cage it wobbled. I just wasted money on a cage that I would have to pay more money to return. I hope this saves at least one person the grief.
