Great for steak and eggs. oiled and put on the BBQ. Placed eggs and they cooked quickly and evenly. I struggled a bit taking the eggs out, and struggled a bit cleaning the pans afterwards. But they cleaned. I will try again oiling or buttering when cooking (just before placing the eggs in them). To prevent rusting I keep them oiled and in a "Food Saver" vacuum bag properly evacuated to minimize oxygen exposure. Handles get extremely hot so use silicone or BBQ fire proof gloves.

I need to order another set! These are great and worked quite well when I just made cornbread in them. I served each person their own warm skillet with their meal. I then used them today to make chocolate chip muffin tops and they were great. These have good heat distribution, no uneven cooking, no burning. I have big name brand cast iron skillets and these do compare well. These are good quality! They do come pre-seasoned so just make sure that you know how to take care of them and all will be well.

The inside needs to be ground down more. It has deep pitting and burrs. Really bad quality for cast iron frying pans. Buy a brand name instead of this junk.
