Our chicken coop was foul smelling and it felt like we were cleaning it nonstop and the odor and nest boxes were constantly dirty and stinky. Sooo much better than hay or shavings! I can clean the coop just like a litter box and very little waste. No dust at all! Yes cost more than shavings or straw but only initially because only a little is removed with clean up.

I will see how it holds up With the rain. That would be it’s only saving grace. Otherwise, very small amount- but heavier than the chips, which cover more area but weigh less (also a different brand).
