I wanted a reasonably priced level 2 charger. I don't want WiFi, a bunch of dials, or any other useless stuff. I want to plug it into my car and charge it. Quickly. With no notifications, emails, or fireworks. When I get in my car, I want it charged and ready to go. Simple. This unit fits that perfectly. It's mid-priced, does have a light that shows it is at least working, and charges the car perfectly well. A full charge on my Prius Prime takes about 2 hrs, and I think I can hear my car humming a tune to itself while it's juicing with 240 V. I've only had it 2 weeks now but is working flawlessly. I'll post an update if anything changes. Overall, an excellent unit. Update: 2 months later, the unit started missing charges. Then it completely stopped charging. The "tech support" appeared to be some guy who I interrupted from eating dinner. He promised to get back to me, then nothing. I called again, and was told to send it in for repair. That was over 2 mo ago. I am trying to contact someone at the company to find out where my unit is. Avoid this company! ... show more

This is my second ev charger. This one was about $400 less expensive than my first charger. At 40 amps my model 3 gets 36 miles/hour of charge. It has been flawless in the two months I have placed it in service. Easily controlled via Tesla app.

Worked fine for 6 months then died but would never get vehicle to 100 % The Factory charger would , The Thirty foot cord is very poor Quality and not UL Rated and looks melted now. I Have Contacted Primecom for replacement under the 1 year Warranty no reply yet.
