ok so we got this to replace our current setup and it works well and as described. Now for the pros and cons . The first pro is that it seems to be made well and holds temp and humidity well except once which I will talk about in a minute . The second pro is that it has an insulated exterior case that is a huge help when in cold climates. Third… The egg turner works well if you make sure you get the dowel lined up properly when closing it . Fourth pro is I like the ability to customize the tray size to accommodate other egg species large or small. Ok so the cons are a short list first I had the heater stop heating on day 17 and my internal temperature dropped to 81 before I noticed this and I couldn’t get it to reengage until I unplugged it and plugged it back in to attempt a fix by restarting it which did the trick. The second would be it does not have a light on the inside to see the eggs without opening it which rapidly lowers temp and humidity as it is pulling the entire top off to check eggs. But all that said and done I believe it to be a great unit especially for the price. And it would be perfect if the heat had not cut out on me that one time and let my eggs and chicks get cold. I would buy again however as I said a pretty solid unit for the price.

The incubator was a great price. We bought it and hatched our first chicks. We put in eight and hatched six, but two were duds. Functionally, it is straightforward and easy to use. It maintained the right temp and humidity. It did struggle a bit to maintain temp when the chicks hatched but it it kept them warm. I would recommend this incubator for anyone looking to hatch some chicks at home and do not want to break the bank in the process.

This incubator does not maintain steady level of temp and humidiy. I tried this unit with 2 sets of dozen eggs and not a single hatched. Do not waste your money on this unit. Unfortunately, my return windows was closed when I realized that this unit is useless. So, it will go in trash.

I have hatched 4 groups of eggs successfully with this incubator. The only down side is it is difficult to watch the eggs hatch because the lid isnt see through

This it my first time using an egg incubator and using the water supply system that came with this incubator has been a problem for me so far.. twice now the alarm went off in the middle of the night so I had to wake up and add some water by hand to the darn thing. This could very well be my fault. Also too the candling light that came ON the machine is not as convenient as using a flashlight to candle your eggs so I don’t use that. All in all Id say, use a cardboard box and make your own

Works good but the temperature went down once or twice needed to be unplugged and plugged back in only happens when lid was off for a little while. 21 out of 24 eggs are forming. Good price. Good first incubator.Only thing after chicks hatch a couple of them kicked into the fan and hurt there feet.

Worked as intended! Dont forget to keep the cover that comes with it that keeps the eggs at correct temp if the outside temp of your room is cool.
