Maybe not heavy duty but have taken a beating since i've had them. I like the spring loaded arms, hold them on your head nicely. Great glasses all round

I spent $145 on an eye exam from a supposedly reputible eye doctor, spent that much more on prescription eye glasses, which they ended up remaking three times and I still couldn't see squat. I took the basic magnification 1.75 prescribed without the extra crud they added on there and bought these. I can see again, I can read again, I am happy again. In short, if you don't know your prescription or haven't had an exam (or just can't afford it), this is certainly been worth my money. I bet it will be yours, too. ... show more

I purchased 2 of these at the same time so I'm stuck with 2 pair. The glasses are rimless so there are 2 holes in each lens. One is for the fastener to attach the nose piece and the other is for a miniature pin in the nose piece to keep it from rotating. The first time I tried to wipe off the glasses the tiny pin snapped off so now the left lens rotates around the nose piece. Very poor design, it's like Chinese quality. ... show more
