Really like the portability and practicality of the Ecogenix charger. I purchased it mainly for my Tesla Model Y to use during outdoor camping and travels, so portability is crucial for me, and this charger completely meets my needs. When I received it, I tested it at home, and it worked perfectly fine. All you just need to plug it in, and the car started charging, which is very convenient. The ev charger's appearance is pleasing and gives a sense of durability and the cable material looks great as well. Additionally, the 25ft cable length gives me more flexibility and I don't need a large parking space. I previously had a charger with a very short cable, and I had to move the car every time to connect to a power source. Now, this charger perfectly solves that problem. I am also very satisfied with its charging speed. I bought it mainly for travel backup at first, but now I find that it can provide me with enough power to charge my Tesla at home overnight (about one hour can provide 8-10miles!), I carry it almost everywhere now, and it is very portable. There is a corresponding ecognix bag and you only need to put it in the trunk! Pros: Durable, Easy to use, fast charging speed Cons: So far, I haven't encountered any issues. If there are any, I will update later. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this ev charger as my Tesla charger. If possible, I would give it a six-star rating!

I considered getting the Tesla wall charger for my new Model S but it would have been a significant cost over and above the charger itself to get the 60 amp breaker and wiring checked and time needed for permits required by my town, electrical inspection etc. I purchased the ecogenix charger which plugged directly to the 14-50 NEMA 240V outlet in my garage. Worked out well with 50 amp breaker circuit. It consistently draws 40 amps and charges at 37 miles/hour which is more than adequate for my needs. Build quality is excellent with a nice digital display and a pretty long cord. Overall, a great value for the price!

We are happy with our purchase. The charger comes with a carrying bag, which works well. It is compact enough to fit nicely in the trunk, but spacious enough to fit the charger and cords without being difficult to repack. The units and cords are well made and I do not believe they will get damaged easily. The charge speed is about 5 mi / hour for my Tesla M3. This is with a 110V 15A electric source. Other chargers advertised lower rates for the same supply. If you drive under 45 miles a day, this can work for you as a daily top-off. For people with higher range needs, you may just need to upgrade and get a specialized outlet installed. 220V makes a big difference. I also appreciate this comes with an Tesla adapter. As mentioned, this can be used with a 220 or 110, so if you need higher speeds or more range, get a dedicated 220V outlet.

This EV charger fits perfectly to my Tesla Y with the included adaptor using my home's 240V/20A outlet).J1772 adaptor to Tesla is also included for convenience. This charger supplies 16A which is good enough to fully charge (80% - 100%) overnight from my NEMA 6-20 standard outlet. This also works for regular 120V outlet, but it would take longer to fully charge, but it should be good to carry the adaptor when you travel as 240V outlet is not readily available, and EV charger/Supercharger is not available. I have been using this for a week or so, and it works great and looks great. It is exactly as described. I couldn't get the Tesla mobile adaptor as it was out of stock, then I found this which turned out to be a great choice. I highly recommend this product.
