I used ecogenix ev charger daily for 1 week, this one works flawlessly every time. The peace of mind knowing that my car is being charged efficiently and safely is truly invaluable. It's smaller than a carry-on suitcase, so it won't take up much space in my trunk. I like that it's portable so I can easily take it with me and use it when I'm out and about. if I visit family or a friend, I can use it at their house. Plus, it's a fraction of the cost compared to the manufacturer brand chargers. And don't worry about compatibility – this charger works on all evs, there are adapter works for tesla. I can personally vouch for its compatibility with Volvo vehicles. The material is durable and built to last. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the charger is UL certified, providing an added layer of assurance regarding its safety standards. The cord is very thick and sturdy. doesnt get very hard in cold whetherand, for the price, this one is a very good value. I just got my first EV last month, and bought this as I waited to get a level 2 charger installed. It actually charged much faster than I expected, and for my needs I found I don't really need to invest in a level 2 charger. I live 7.5 miles out of town, and can usually recharge a days driving around town in a few hours, if I drive further an overnight charge will usually fully charge. I have a 150 mile per charge car, so it may take longer for a larger battery, but I have never had an issue. I was told to expect 2 miles an hour but find I get closer to 4.5 with my car, a Nissan Leaf SV, which is one of the smaller batteries for an EV. I may still invest in a level 2 charger since my state will pay for it, and the federal government is offering $1000 towards installation for rural people. But, this has so far been enough. It is lightweight, easy to install anywhere you may need to use it, as long as you have access to any normal 120v outlet. It fits nicely in its bag, and stores easily in the trunk, taking very little space. Ive used it for over a month and found it's durable in all weather, though I think in the sun the cord gets hot, as when I laid it across grass once the grass under had turned yellow in the few hours I had charged. I don't know if it's because it's black and heats from the sun, or if the actual current heats the cord, or both. At a time when it wasn't sunny I touched the cord and it didn't feel hot to the touch, but when it's in direct summer sunlight that is something to be aware of. Make sure it's not directly on grass or something flammable. Otherwise, I have found it's more efficient than I expected, and I'm happy with my choice. There are dozens available, I chose this one because it said it was faster and more efficient and that has so far been the case.

Great charger. It works for our Tesla X using a Tesla adapter that came with our car, and we use it for a new Chevy Silverado truck that has the standard universal adapter charging port. We plug it into a 220 V welding outlet in our garage. It charges our cars in about six hours. It is faster than the original Tesla charger that I bought for my Tesla in 2017. Love it and would happily buy it again.

I purchased this EV charger with some concern about its current draw at 120volts. There are absolutely no external controls on the device. The manual says to set the current level and charging schedule before using it, but doesn't say how to do that. Having said that, there are no other drawbacks at all. The charger didn't blow any circuit breakers and provided around 1.7 kW of power, as reported by my car. Actual charging time seemed a bit less than the car expected, but not wildly different. I have done two charging sessions so far with absolutely no issues. The cables and control box do get warm, but not hot, and the indicator lights on the box worked exactly as expected. So far this is a very good product and works as advertised. Recommended. Someone asked about the wire gage. The charging cable is labeled 3X14Ga and 1X18Ga, 600V, 150C. These seem very appropriate for this charger. Still works great!!

I got this home charger yesterday 09/27/2025, I thought it will be a fast charger, I tried it, it will charge at max of 1.9kh /h , it is false advertisement that this level 2 charger, to charge my car I need 36 hours, I am returning this today

i like the charger it's fast i can charge my kia niro within 8hours to 100% . i wish if it has an app or i can control the length of charging time but other than that it's a good charger for the money

A pretty good price on a versatile charger. I like the ability to adjust the amperage to suit my needs. You set it up once and you’re good to go. I’ve been using it a few weeks now and it has performed perfectly. Documentation could be better, but it’s satisfactory. It is nice from the aesthetics standpoint, though my car probably cares more about that than I do. I have no doubt that it’s important to some people though. They give a range for the height it should be hung. Most likely to avoid splashing from rain but not high enough to be damaged if it falls off the wall. Probably a good idea to follow those instructions. It’s fairly trim and easy to not notice if that is the desire. I’m glad I made this choice.
