I have a 2009 Nissan Rogue, the car gets good fuel economy but has no charge ports for phone etc. We took a road trip and bought this to charge the lap top and phones while driving It was perfect for the job the fast charge USB charges very fast and the 120v outlet charges the lap top. It worked very well and the small size fit in our little car, (see pic). It never made noise or ran hot, I highly recommend this to anyone with an older car. I am going to buy one for my old pickup.

We had to suddenly leave on a long day trip via car all while I was caring for a newborn hatchling bird that needed to stay warm on a heating pad 24 hours a day and be fed every 2 hours, thus I could not leave the bird at home. My car had no place to plug in the heating pad so I bought this. Thankfully, it was delivered the next day and I plugged it into my cigarette lighter hole. It has an indicator light when it is on and it actually worked and we were able to plug in the heating pad and go on this long trip without any interruption in heat. What a relief. My only regret is not getting this sooner. I can imagine all the possibilities now being able to plug all sorts of devices into my car and even charge my phone even if I forget my charger.

Be careful what you plug in I guess. I plugged in a 140w appliance thinking this 200w device would be able to handle it, but the inverter turned off every few seconds. I am glad to say it didnt blow the fuse, so the safety feature here to turn off instead of blowing the fuse worked out. Leaving 4 stars because it does work, just on lower wattage needs.

I bought this because I'm a Project Manager and spend a lot of time in my vehicle in the area where my crews are working. (No office space on the job sites). If it's too cold or hot out, I'm in my truck doing work on the laptop with the heat or AC on. It's great to keep my laptop going without running out of battery, you have the USB chargers for the phone, iPad, Airpods or printer. Now I have a new truck with onboard 110V so I don't need to use this any more but it has been a great purchase.
