I purchased this product in April 2023, use it regularly, and am very satisfied. Most 12 Volt DC 'cigarette lighter' power ports utilize a 15 amp fuse. Doing the math one must consider (start up) amperage of the device being plugged into it. I limit the total wattage to 150 Watts so I don't blow the vehicle supply fuse. Driving party limousines on weekends I have had success running a small personal fan (AC), charging breast pump batteries (AC), maintaining a charge on my laptop (AC), in addition to charging several phones all at the same time. When used properly this device is a workhorse! Cooling fan noise is minimal and I consider it a nonissue. If you are concerned, USB to USB-C adapters are very inexpensive. After two and a half years of regular use, I have no complaints. Great price too!

I’ve been using the FOVAL 200W Car Power Inverter for a few weeks now, and it’s been a solid addition to my travel gear. It’s compact, lightweight, and fits easily in my glove compartment—perfect for road trips or working on the go. What I love: The 4 USB ports and 2 AC outlets make it super versatile. I can charge my phone, tablet, and even run my laptop all at once. It’s quiet most of the time, and the built-in fan only kicks in when needed. The safety features (like over-voltage and short-circuit protection) give me peace of mind when charging sensitive devices. Why 4 stars instead of 5: It’s great for small electronics, but it struggles with anything close to the 180W limit. I tried using it with a small coffee maker and it shut off immediately. The auto shutoff can be a bit sensitive, especially if you’re pushing the wattage. Overall, this is a reliable and well-designed inverter for everyday use in the car. I bought this for a road trip, and it was a lifesaver for keeping the kids' devices charged. There is a hum to it, but it's not loud at all. The cord was long enough to reach the back seat, and whole I'm not sure of the output, it's great to have multiple options for outlets.

Update: Seller reached out and provided a refund. Updated the rating to 4 stars for their customer service experience. Did not repurchase as I was worried I may have run into the same issues. Would give zero stars if could. Inverter does not work. Will not even work with a simple phone charger. Bought the inverter for the car as we live in Florida so have many storms and go without power, but also live in an apartment so cannot have a generator. Thought it would be good to have as we can run out to the car and use for essential quick items that need power. Attempted our first use during Hurricane Milton as power was out for 12+ hours and needed a phone charged once plugged into the cigarette lighter it blinked red and that was it. I tried the other port in the car in the trunk and the same red light again. Watts and voltage have been cross referenced and it is definitely the inverter that has failed us. Cannot return as it was purchased in February 2024 but this was my first time attempting to use it as it was never needed before and only intended for use in these scenarios.
