This machine is worth every penny. No more tirelessly hand raking carpet. It is easy to manuever, does a excellent job scrubbing everything and takes no time to clean out. At a weight of 41lbs, it can be a bit to lug up and down stairs but it will glide on carpet. It would be nice if the foot pedal had a bit more grab as being metal it can become a bit slippery. It is fairly quite for what it is. The detachable waste containers are nice on big jobs or for very dirty jobs. If you just want to put the guards on, that makes it easier to maneuver but you can expect debris. Don't forget to push the button to detach the guards or the waste containers. It would be great if the cord was longer. We chose to purchase the POWGRN 50 ft 12/3 Outdoor Extension Cord Waterproof Heavy Duty with Lighted Indicator End 12 Gauge 3 Prong, Flexible Cold-Resistant Long Power Cord Outside, 15Amp 1875W SJTW Yellow ETL Listed. Side Note: The 14" CRB brush area is only 12" with a buffer of 1" on each side - creating the 14" measurement. You may wish to consider a larger machine if you focus on large, commercial properties but the 14" is ideal for residential properties. ... show more
