I ordered this charger for my 2026 model 3 as the Tesla charger cable wasn’t long enough for my needs. The charger itself works great and charges at 16 amps. I mounted this to an exterior column on my house and keep the factory Tesla charger in the trunk of my car. The price point is great, install was easy, and it seems to be well made and should hold up just fine outside(it is mounted in the shade). My only issue is the button on the charger that is meant to open the charge port of my Tesla does not work. I’m not sure if it’s a product defect, software issue, or maybe just not operating on the right frequency for the car to recognize. It’s not a big deal but it is a bit annoying as it’s an advertised feature that does not work for me. ... show more

The plug can be difficult to insert fully, and even harder to unplug. Also, there are little plastic trim-pieces at both ends of the charging-block that are extremely flimsy and will break almost immediately; this does not seem to affect the performance of the charger, but it also does not leave me with a good feeling about its overall durability. It charges as advertised, but I am leaning towards returning it because of my concerns about it holding up long-term. ... show more
