This may not have a fancy OLED screen on it, but it offers the same features as my other aftermarket charging cable, namely selection and indication of charging current. I used it with the included adapter cable to charge at level 1 (it automatically selected 12A) and there were no issues at all. I have now been using it for about a week to charge my plug-in hybrid vehicle. I especially like how much lighter it is than my other aftermarket cable. They also included two velcro ties and a compact circular bag with handles to keep it organized; these things weren't shown in the original listing. This is the one I will keep in my car to use when I am away from home. One note: I think their third picture showing the plug type vs. charging level at the bottom is incorrect, and the Level 2 should have one plug at 90 degrees. It appears that they mixed up their images at the bottom, and they should correct this.

I ordered this portable Level 1/2 EV charger as a backup and it works great. It came with both 120V and 240V plug options and worked right out of the box. I’ve used it in both standard wall outlets and a dryer outlet with no issues. The included display is a nice touch—it shows charging speed and total kWh used. Whether I’m charging overnight at home or visiting someone without a charger, I haven't had any issues. It’s well-built, fits in the included zippered case, and has held up to regular use. Even my friend tried it and was impressed. Just make sure you adjust the amperage if you're using a standard 15A outlet to avoid overloading anything. This isn’t the fastest charger out there, but it’s reliable, safe, and a fantastic value for anyone who doesn’t want to spend thousands on a hardwired setup. Highly recommend keeping one in your trunk—you never know when you’ll need it!

This is a fantastic charger to keep in your EV to take with you on the road. Why, exactly? Easy, because it works on both 120v and 240v, you can use this anywhere you can find an outlet...you don't have to have a 240v outlet if you don't have access to one. Of course, a 240v outlet will get you up to 16 amps, which is a pretty decent charge rate. It's a very simple and easy to use charger, as well. There are no apps to use, set up accounts for, sign into, etc. It's just plug and go, with the ability to change the charge current with a single button. Anyone can use this with no worries about it being too complicated. It comes with a nice little bag which everything fits in, and you just toss it in the trunk so you're always ready to charge. So extremely handy to have on hand when you need it, and such a great value for around $150. Very recommended, 5 stars.
