These bolt extractors really work. I had four bolts that had rusted off heads inside a bull dozer steering clutch housing. I had to use a pry bar to hold the sockets on the bolt head while I turned a wrench to dig the fluted socket edges on. The hex head on the sockets made it possible for me to fasten a box end wrench to the socket and reach down onto the steering clutch bolts. The bolts were torqued to over 90 ft lbs and the extractor kept digging in as I pulled on the wrench with a cheater bar attached to it. I highly recommend these. Excellent price, too. ... show more

I had completely rounded and stripped a oil pan bolt. Vice grips , nothing worked. I sprayed wd-40 on a few hours prior , found the tightest fitting socket , hammered it on. Said a prayer and cranked down, boom ! It worked ! Thank God . Good product!
