I recently installed the 8.2’ x 6.5’ Sunsetter Retractable Awning on our patio, and it has completely changed our outdoor space. The saying you get what you pay for is true In this case... don't buy it. It is cheesy and the directions are like in Chinese. It was terrible and now we can't return it so we're stuck losing $200!

I wasn't sure what to do but I needed some shade. I saw this particular shade and due to the price I figured it was worth the gamble. It does crank out but due to a shoulder injury I'm not going to do it here. It was fairly easy to put up but!!! Take a minute and watch the video first. I did not do that and it created a lot more issues installing. Had I taken the time to watch the video it would have gone much simpler. For the money and the quality I am not disappointed at all. With it rolled up it looks pretty good I think.

VERY EASY TO INSTALL THE DIRECTIONS MADE IT SIMPLE. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE QUALITY AND DURABILITY OF THIS AWNING. Adjusting to a higher or lower hieght is super easy and takes only a couple minutes. SUPER AWESOME !!!

I have had mine up for about two weeks and really like it. The materials (canopy and aluminum) are good quality, not so sure about the joints, guess we will see. Yes, the instructions are very difficult, a mechanical background helps. I did put the front rail on backwards and ruined the end caps and it was missing a stop for the canopy. (Have to look REAL close at the picture in the instructions) I had received an email from their after-sale department and emailed them, they responded on a Sunday! Put the parts in shipping (no charge). They sent the wrong parts, so I sent pictures from the manual and the parts and they responded within one day and shipped the parts I need. (No charge for the parts or shipping) That is very good customer service. Not sure about if someone would want to return it. BUT, always READ the return policy!!!
