Overall this was a great buy. It seems to hold up and evenually cooks . Its easy to remove the handle after searing and put into the oven. The only downfall for me is the handle and screwing back on.

Nice pan. Obviously the wooden handle isn't oven safe, but it unscrews easily for the occasion. I got it for steaks and burgers and it does a great job. It is heavy. It doesn't come with instructions but it is fairly obvious. Although I am not 100% sure I put the lid handle on correctly, but it works just fine. All in all, I am happy with my purchase, it is very nice having a full handle that stays cool on a cast iron pan. ... show more

    • This Skillet Pan is Super Heavy. I Would Give it 3 to 4 Stars.

This pan is heavy. I usually use just one had to lift it which was a huge strain which is why it has a handle at the end. It needs assembly. It is not a non-stick pan. For durability I imagine someone will have it 200 years from now.
