You just turn off electric to area you are working , unhook your old light fixture, then you just twist the white with white, black with black, and ground with ground. It's that simple! The settings are ok. However, when the power goes out you have to reset the settings. In my case these lights are on my guesthouse. I’m not always where I can have an opportunity to reset. The default setting #1 is dust to dawn. I have it set for motion detection #2. If I’m not able to reset it will stay on all night. This cost is not what I desire. It could cost a lot more than what I need. Thankfully the power goes out during bad weather mostly. It would be great if the settings kept to the one you choose. ... show more

This is relatively easy to install. It has good packing material, all components received in good shape. It also includes excess (spare) parts. Good quality in structure and glass. Using a switch to select mode would be easier, but the instructions was easy to follow.

Looks good, works well, and my husband likes it. I guess that's a win!. Dims until someone comes up to it and the dim version is pretty dim. That's good for power consumption I guess. Overall a good light that looks good and fit well where used to replace and older light.
