Wow! I have a 4' x 18' easy set pool I've been using for years and have been using the vinyl cover that was included in the package. This year, the original cover tore beyond repair and I needed a replacement. An easy set pool tapers, so 18ft is not the size of the ring at the top. That has made it challenging finding a substitute cover - especially since they no longer seem available from Intex or Bestway. An 18ft cover is way too large. A 15ft cover is too small, but the 16ft version of this cover does the trick. It is durable but far lighter than the vinyl cover included in the pool package, its strings allow it to be well tightened for average daily use, but it also includes straps/hooks to anchor it to the ground before extreme weather conditions. I rarely post reviews about products, but this one deserved a thumbs up imo.

My pool is under a tree which is great for shade, but is a mess when it comes to leaves, pollen and other debris falling from the tree. I have gotten covers in the past which included drainage holes for rain fall, this cover does not have any holes for drainage. I now have to bail the water off the top of this cover when it rains but, it is worth it because my pool is nice and clean and crystal clear when I get the cover off. The other covers let in the dirty water on top of the cover and leaves through the drain holes. It is much easier to maintain the water chemistry without all the debris messing it up. Also the chlorine seems to last longer with this cover than with other covers I have previously used. This cover floats very well so it is easier to take it off without stuff on the top of it getting into the pool. The only downfall is that this cover is not a snug fit. You must use the ties and stakes it comes with (like those for a tent) to secure the cover to the ground. I also found using the draw string for the cover and tying it to my pool itself helps as well as it only comes with 4 stakes and ties despite having 6 places on the cover to attach them.

Bought this in October for our pool. Everything seemed ok to begin with, but never could get the cover tight enough where a slight breeze wouldn’t knock it off. But, I did what I had to do to make it work. Well then come last week and I went to take it off and where the anchor points are just ripped right off and the top tore like a piece of paper. You can see what I’m talking about in the pictures. I would not recommend this cover.

Fit & Performance: The LXKCKJ 12 ft round pool cover is a nice, durable cover, but it does not fully fit the circumference of my pool. It seems better suited for a 10 ft pool rather than 12 ft. Material & Durability: The material feels sturdy and weather-resistant. It should hold up well over time if used on a properly sized pool. Installation Tips: Measure your pool carefully before purchasing, as the extra material may not stretch enough to cover larger pools properly. Final Verdict: If you have a 10 ft round pool, this cover works great. For larger pools, it may not provide full coverage, though the quality of the material itself is good.
