I've been using this cable tower for about 2 months and I absolutely love it. I've had a home gym for 30 years now and it is very large with tons of equipment. This has become my new favorite piece because it does so much. This is my second piece of GMWD equipment. Both items are extremely well packaged. Every piece than it is individually bubble wrapped. Their instructions are always extremely well done with simple to follow steps. I've bought a lot of equipment from other companies where the instructions are basically a joke. Having your own tools speeds up assembly instead of using the provided wrenches. A+ in packaging and assembly. The one negative during use is there is a bit of float to the weight trolley when using light weight on it. Make sure not to overtightened the pulleys. They should freely spin. The other issue is this machine has 17 pulleys on it which creates a lot of resistance. I swapped out all of the pulleys for aluminum ones which made it feel 1000 times better and almost completely eliminated the float. I only slightly notice it if I'm using 10lbs or less for side shoulder raises. If you are replacing the pulleys you need: 2 - 120mm pulleys 6 - 70mm pulleys 11 - 90mm pulleys One of the key features that made me pick the gmwd version is I like how it has dual trolleys. They are very light and easy to move up and down. They do have some wiggle so it's always best to tighten up the pop pins with each adjustment. Just make them snug, don't go crazy. I also love how it has laser numbering to easily find your position of the trolleys. I made a quick access chart for each exercise. The height is amazing with both arms fully vertical at the top position. 91" is high enough for the tallest people. I'm 6'3" and have long arms. I normally have problems getting a full stretch doing lat pulldowns on most machines. At max height this machine can be too tall even for me. As a tip, get dual handles instead of linking a bar for lat pull downs. I set the arms of the GMWD tower into a Y position and do kneeling lat pull downs. It feels incredible....way better than any bar. I can't say enough how much I love this machine. It made the single tower cable machines basically pointless now cause you needed to buy 2 of those.

I’ve only been using this machine for about a week so I can’t speak to its durability over time. So far, I’m very impressed. Setup/assembly was pretty easy. All by myself, I never encountered any issues. I’d recommend laying the parts out first, and use your own sockets/wrenches rather than the little wrenches provided. That’s just because the little wrenches provided don’t give a lot of leverage. All parts were present and the instructions were straightforward. It may take some inference on your part but mechanically inclined folks probably wouldn’t even need the instructions as this machine is pretty intuitive once laid out. Once assembled, everything works as it should. Movement is smooth and every component feels stable and sturdy. The “arms” allow for virtually every possible position I could conceive. I’m 6’ tall and it goes as high as I could need and as low as I could need for any of the movements in my current workout circuits. (I’m also not pushing it to the upper weight limits either though.) All attachments work as intended. Changing between workouts is easy and intuitive. Pretty nice for a home gym. Likely not ideal for a pro gym unless you are working individually with clients in a small, private gym setting. But it feels well-made and durable. Would recommend to anyone.

Doesn’t glide very has a lot of sticking point was hoping for the best I can probably upgrade the pulleys but then I could probably buy a higher priced machine. Really wanted this to work in my home gym it looks great and I’d pretty sturdy! Only complaint is the sticking and not being very smooth.

Illustration for assembly and installation could have been better. At no point did the instructions mention when it should be attached to the wall. That’s important because if you start to tighten everything too quickly, it won’t attach to the wall properly, as in it won’t be straight enough to attach to a stud. Also, it arrived without the guide hook, which made running the cable through the arm a major PITA.

So after taking quite some time to put this machine together, I realized the adjustable arms didn’t have all the holes drilled on the right side. I’d stay clear of this machine it really sucks, because I wanted this to work out for me so badly. And it really sucks that this company wasted so much of my time.

This is a fantastic addition to our home gym. We don't have a ton of space so something like this that saves on space and has a large range of versatility is of paramount importance. I also love that it can use the Olympic weight plates that we already have. If you're 6' or taller I could see you potentially wanting a unit that might be a little taller for some standing cable fly workouts, but at 5'8" it's perfect for me. This thing bolts to a wall stud really well with the 4 massive bolts that are included. There aren't any instructions for how to do so but common sense should go a long way there. I would encourage you to bring some of your own tools for assembly. The included wrenches would work, the kind you get in ANY DIY pack, but that would be a workout all on it's own! The ONLY thing I would have liked to see them include is a small tube of silicon lubricant for the moving parts. This was quite stiff until I applied some of my own. After applying the silicon lubricant it moves very well and very smoothly. So, future buyer, get yourself some lube. Also get some for the machine... You won't be disappointed with this machine.

great value for the money! I had a minor issue and they fixed it very quickly. The machine is very functional, allows all common exercises, despite having a very small footprint.

I got this several months back to add to my home gym. Setup took me a little longer than I thought it would but overall I am happy with the build quality on this. My only complaint would be about the thickness of the upright that the arms are attached to. It's not very thick steel and tends to flex side to side under heavy loads. I did have an issue with the arm trolley as it came with some dents and chipped paint and one of the cable pulley attachment points was bent and changes the angle of cable travel. I emailed customer service and sent pictures and they sent me a brand new piece without having me to return the original. Plus they discounted my purchase 15%. Overall, I'm really happy with how it functions for the price, especially since there are others that are similar that are way more expensive and do the same job.
