When we first used this watering can, it leaked badly at the joint between the can and the spout. When we ordered another one, it had a washer that was obviously for that spot. Back to the original one, we discovered the washer wedged into the spout. Once we fished it out and installed it, the can did not leak at all. We'll give it 5 stars with the caveat that you might have the same problem we did.

We have weeds that grow from the bowels of deepest evil. And evil never dies. Seriously - they ALWAYS COME BACK. Everyone on my street has different methods of dealing with them, and they always come back no matter what chemical or tool, so we just deal with it like Groundhog Day. There's a bunch of doggos and kiddos in the neighborhood, so I looked up ways to kill weeds in a non toxic manner, and settled on plain vinegar. Works great! But trying to sprinkle it out of a big old jug wasted SO much. I ordered this baby and it showed up ready to go by popping together a few easy parts in less than 30 seconds. It perfectly fit a brand new 1 gallon jug of vinegar (I know I know, it says 1 gallon in the description - but come on, you can't tell me you've never ordered something in a specific size to find out that if you actually PUT that much liquid in, it starts splashing and spilling because it fills to the itty bitty top. This left enough room to pick it up and carry it to the Weeds Of Doom with no spills). Sprinkles that vinegar like a magical shower of weed destruction. On a hot day those weeds are just like "im meeeeelting" except they're saying, "I'm crisssssping.... crissssping!" By the next day they turn into crispy crunchy easily weed whacked hay that takes a while to grow back. I was able to get a LOT of coverage per gallon with this can. Also, when you get to the last few tablespoons lurking in there, just pop off the white showerhead part and the rest will come out to the last drop. Take THAT, stupid weeds. >:(

This is similar to my Hawes watering can but much cheaper. It’s 4 stars because I do love my little hawes watering can.

I have hand and wrist arthritis and am using this on a raised bed. This is light weight, and 1 gallon is manageable. What is NOT manageable for me is a top handle and a short spout at an acute angle combined with the raised bed: WAY too much hand, wrist and shoulder flexing at multiple really awkward angles. The side handle and the long spout at a less acute angle on this one solve all those issues. But why isn't there a mark to tell you which of the two top lines is 1 gallon, for use with small amounts of highly concentrated fertilizers when dilution matters? So easy and common sense to have instead of all the little star marks. I eventually measured and marked it myself. Still, highly recommended for the arthritis issues.

I love this can even though the top can sometimes come loose. I like the way the water comes out and the water flow is good. The size is easy to carry. I hope it lasts and I would buy it again as the price was right.

I have no idea how this product got the reviews it did I used it for the first time today. I filled up the watering can, turning away to put away some frozen items into my freezer, (as I just gotten home from the grocery store) I turned back around, maybe one minute later, to find my counter flooded. My floor flooded. What a mess. and yes, it was a properly screwed together, and the threads were appropriately matched. I repeat. Horrible product. There’s no excuse for it to be this flimsy of plastic, and leak at every seam. Amazon wants me to return it, what a pain in the rear end. So I’m gonna have to take that thing to my local drop off, after work, or before work I work 10 hour days, for $1.95 piece of plastic that cost 16 bucks. What a rip off. Again do not buy.

The long neck on this watering can makes watering in tight spots so easy! And the dual handles are great for carrying a full can easily (without spills!) then pouring the water at just the right angle. I love the size too -- not too big and heavy but holds enough to water several plants at a time. I highly recommend this watering can!

I like the size and long stem with attachment. I don't like that it leaks drops of water intermittently when in use. Seems like a simple design flaw that should be corrected. The rubber insert I'm sure helps keep more water from coming out but there is leakage nonetheless.
