  • The best filtered water pitcher I've ever owned!
Style: 12-Cup Dispenser Size: IMPROVED Ready-Read Technology
It was time to buy more filters for my old pitcher and I decided to see if there was a better option. After doing a lot of research I decided to purchase this Zero water pitcher. I am so glad I did! This one is far superior to any other ones I've owned. Their five stage filters seem to filter much more than other brands. The water tastes great so I'm drinking much more water now! I love that the top has a tight seal and I no longer spill water all over myself, or the floor, taking the pitcher to the refrigerator. I like having the TDS meter to let me know when it's time to replace the filter, however, it's a little difficult for me to see the numbers. I have to use a magnifying glass. I would love for the meter to have a backlight making it easier to see the numbers. When I saw the size of the filters, I thought I would have a hard time picking up the pitcher when it was full, but with that tight seal, I don't have any problems moving it because I don't have to hold it perfectly level. I kind of wish I'd gotten the larger one because I add water several times a day. I love, love, love the spigot! It's so much easier to get a glass of water. This is a great feature and a must have for me now. I got a great deal on replacement filters on Prime day and stocked up. They also included a coupon in the box with the pitcher for new filters. This was a great buy for me but I'll go with the larger size next time! ... show more

  • Great little water filter, no major complaints
Style: 12-Cup Dispenser Size: IMPROVED Ready-Read Technology
I use this filter to soften the water for my shrimp tank as a cheaper alternative to more expensive filters. It works great for that. It also comes with a water hardness tester which I use to test the water in my fish tanks. I have no major complaints with regards to this filter other than I wish it was just a little bigger. But all in all, it has save my a ton of money compared to buying gallons and gallons of distilled water. I think it would work great for a small family but I wouldn't buy it if you have a big family and rely on a filter for your drinking water ... show more

  • Excellent filter, small reservoir.
Style: 12-Cup Dispenser Size: IMPROVED Ready-Read Technology
The filter does bring water to 0 TDS. Checked with two different TDS meters. This is what I wanted to filter dehumidifier water (atmospheric water). I have a hose from a dehumidifier sitting on a water cooler to carboy setup. I hate the small reservoir of this version. I should have sprung for the larger version. One of the little tabs that hold the lid in place broke. I'm not sure if it was in shipping or while I was unpacking, so be careful while unpacking. There is a button that must be pressed to open the lid. I personally, would really like someone to come out with a filter system that would fit over a carboy that can be put into a water cooler. ... show more

  • Zero Water filter seems better than my Brita
Style: 6-Cup Pitcher Size: Standard
Seems like a good filter and water pitcher. I like this smaller size for daily use. I did have difficulty lifting the lid to fill pitcher with water so I stuck a plastic bathroom hook on the lid. Works great. Maybe when they redesign the lid they will have some overlap on the rear of the lid to make it easy to grip. For now this solution makes it easy to lift. ... show more

  • Easy Peasy Water Filter
Style: 12-Cup Dispenser Size: IMPROVED Ready-Read Technology
This is the most hassle free water filtration system I've owned. The design is so simple. One doesn't have to worry about when to replace the filter, it's provided by the TDS meter. And the water filters fairly quickly as well. The only flaw is the lid, which doesn't open and close easily because the button does not give. Because I have an arthritic thumb, I have to leave the lid slightly ajar. I had a heck of a time just getting it opened the first time to clean it....a bummer. ... show more

  • It works but a few tiny design issues
Style: 6-Cup Pitcher Size: Standard
One really dumb design issue that prevents me from giving it 5 stars: The lid's handle is worthless. It's too shallow and slick and impossible to lift if the lid is tightly on the pitcher. You end up prying the lid off from one of the edges. Really gotta shake your head at what the designers were thinking. ... show more

  • Filter needs to be changed in less than 2 weeks!!!
Style: 12-Cup Dispenser Size: IMPROVED Ready-Read Technology
It's hasn't even been 2 weeks yet, and my TDS meter is reading 015. My tap water is about 271 which is shocking because the water where I live is supposed to be "the best" but apparently it isn't, and I was drinking that crap all my life until my son got a stomach bug after the tap water was tasting weird. Anyway my zerowater filter came last Saturday and it was reading 000 for like the first week, then it started fluctuating to 001-004 daily.. Today it's at 015, so yeah, it's time for a filter change, I'm just upset it didn't last a bit longer. I bought a brita filter first and it brought the TDS down to about 165 but that is still too much. I'm trying to avoid fluoridated water as much as possible,I even switched my household toothpaste to fluoride free toothpaste, anyway, I thought the zero water filter would be perfect. At least it worked well the 1st week, sigh. I ordered more filter replacements but they haven't gotten to my country yet, so I'll still have to use the one I have until they arrive. 015 TDS filtered water is still better than 271 tds tap water. I think I'll buy another zero filter, so I can extend the life of the filter, the filter being useless in less 2 weeks is insane though!!! Ughhh, and one more thing, the TDS meter I got with the zerowater filter, can hardly be read, I have to tilt it to see the reading. It came with dead batteries smh!!! ... show more

  • TDS meter works!
Style: 6-Cup Pitcher Size: Standard
I live in San Diego and our water is very hard and very recycled. After my purchase of this pitcher, I did a water test with the provided TDS meter. My “filtered” home water read 358ppm. I filtered water from the same source through this Zero Water pitcher and after filtration it read 000ppm. Perfect! I add a little trace minerals & Ph drops everyday for balance. I normally drink from a glass bottle and on occasion will use a solid copper bottle. I’m never settling for bad water again. I will certainly continue to buy these filters. I’d definitely recommend using a mineral supplement because we need our minerals & this seems to remove everything. Clean odorless water is well worth the wait! ... show more
