I bought this system to replace the fish tank pump that used to operate my "cooling" for my 60 watt CO2 laser table. It works great, the only complaint I have is that it's actually built better than my Laser table, when I applied the new chiller the flow was so high compared to the old pump that it blew all the water lines inside the table off of their connections which were just "slip fit" on, so I dumped about 3 gallons of water inside the table, and then I had to buy hose clamps and clamp everything inside. Overall very happy with the product. The alarms are loud and I know it will protect my system better.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this chiller to replace a Vevor 5200 chiller that I bought in September from another site, which was defective on arrival, and found Vevor will not repair or replace the chillers as warranty requires, claiming they couldn't get in touch with the supplier. They continually tried to get me to agree to accept a partial refund instead of having my chiller repaired or replaced. I refused, so they quit answering my messages. I have dozens of pages of my conversations with Vevor and their refusal to honor the warranty, as well as their attempts to trick me into accepting a partial refund. During my fight with Vevor, I found that local appliance repair companies said the cost of a new compressor and installation labor cost more than I paid for the chiller. After 3 weeks of fighting Vevor, I had to have a new chiller, so I bought the BestEquipt chiller here. I use it rarely, to cool a laser engraver that I make items to help with medical expenses. I maybe have 10-12 hours of run time on it, when the alarm started making odd noises, and the Normal operation indicator light flickered and went out. I have owned it 39 days, 9 past the return window. When I contacted Amazon to find out how to get warranty work done, they said to call Vevor, the manufacturer. My heart sank, shocked that it is made by the same company who refuses to honor my first chiller's warranty. I've emailed Amazon's warranty department in hopes that they will help me to get this chiller's warranty honored. I am relying on the logic that it would not be acceptable to them to have a company so disreputable that it does not honor warranty policies. If I can add the final outcome of my chiller problem, I will let you know what happens.

This unit is able to keep my laser water at 75 degrees despite the room temperature of 90 degrees. I was pleasantly surprised that it only takes 5 minutes to chill the water down to operating temperatures. If this unit keeps up this good service for a few years, I’d buy another one.

I had an issue with the original chiller that was sent to us. The compressor would not turn on and therefore it would not chill the water. The seller was contacted and they were very nice and easy to deal with. Over a few emails and even a FaceTime live chat, we started out by trying to do some self diagnosing to see if it was something that could easily be fixed on our end, but when we were not getting any results, they immediately shipped out another chiller no questions asked. The new chiller arrived and so far it is working perfectly.

The intake has a hard time keeping up with the out. I eventually figured out that the cap for the internal tank wasn't sealing properly and after putting some thread tape on it, it mostly fixed the problem. However, for what you're paying, it shouldn't have this kind of problem so I've dropped the rating I would have given it. Also, the controls are a little ridiculous.

The parts and the design of this chiller are the same as the S&A version. However the quality of construction (tin solder joints here, silver solder in S&A) is evident everywhere. Neither have service ports so both are very difficult to repair. With the S&A at $650 and this at $400 the $250 is more than half way to a replacement unit when they fail. Be aware this ships in "Intelligent" mode which is not likely the mode you what your want for Co2 laser coolant. Default Intelligent mode just keeps the coolant 2°C below the room temperature.

So far so good. Seems to be working as it should. The only thing I dislike is the VERY loud beeping when turning on and off. Scares my animals and hurts my ears.

got the machine and it worked great until all the coolant leaked. Now it runs and just makes water slightly hotter. They then told me to fix it myself and get amazon to pay for the fixing. Amazon said they are the ones that have to uphold their 12 month warranty. Terrible customer service, and terrible product :( here's their actual email to me after i wrote to amazon and amazon sent me their customer service number: "Hello, I'm sorry for the inconvenience. Refrigerant fluid leak: Find and plug the leak and compensate for the refrigerant fluid It is recommended that you find Amazon customer service through your original order number to request compensation for part of the repair costs."
