Wire is of sufficient length, but I only had to drill through my door frame to the interior of my home and the outlet was right there. It has the polarity (+/-) on the wire it self. Great for video doorbell cameras. But not good for heavy loads since it is a 12v.

I used it for the Wyze doorbell because I didn’t have an existing wired doorbell. Worked perfectly and the wire nuts were small enough to fit inside the doorbell housing. Finding a place to hide the wire took a lot longer than connection the power supply. Remember, do not plug it in until you have it connected. ... show more

Does the job for a Eufy 2K Doorbell. Haven't had any issues with the battery since. It's nice knowing that I can leave it up all of the time without needing to take it off to charge and leave my porch unmonitored.
