  • Great device and Helps Handicap individuals with only the use of one Hand do thier own mowing.
The ad should also include use by Handecaped individuals, Men and Women. I have a 70 year old Femal friend with a Zero Turn mower and 2 years ago she had Mini Strokes and lost use of Left Arm and hand and Leg. Thru Therapy 3 times a week has been able to become mobile again. So I found your bar and ordered 2. I installed one on her mower and with her Right arm and hand being her Dominate use. She can now mow her lawn and the back 2 acres again. It has given her the ability to not have to have her Family to do it for her. I want to thank the inventor for this. I was going to design something and get my Grandson to try to 3D print parts and possibly make something but this solved Her and My problem. Jeanie says it works Great. ... show more

  • I'M NOT A DRUNK MONKEY ANYMORE...
SYNOPSIS: It works. It does feel a bit like driving without power steering 💪🏼 A drunk monkey - that's what it felt like for this 👱🏼♀️ trying to drive a zero turn - a drunk monkey directing airplanes on the tarmac. Apparently there is a disorder called 'directional dyslexia': I turn on the wrong burner on the stove after using said stove daily for 15 years; I have to say 'righty tighty, lefty loosey' and then hold up my writing hand to remind myself of 'righty'. IQ had me testing for MENSA in 2nd grade but I don't know my left from my right half the time. Literally. So driving a two handled lawnmower when I'd barely mastered the joystick one was a nightmare. Last year I threw my hands up and told my Dad he'd have to cut the grass (we are neighbors). This year he needs spinal surgery so cutting roots and rocks and dirt on our joint 5-7 acres fell to me. Saw this bar, Free Returns with Prime, and said 'it's cheaper than a new lawnmower". Dad took it to the barn and installed it, but that looks straightforward enough I'm sure anyone with a screwdriver could do that. Then came the real test. I PASSED!! I cut grass with that stupid zero turn piece of garbage lawnmower that legit would have the same [SAFE] turn radius as a joystick mower the first try. I won't be zipping around 10mph like I did on the joystick mower... this one wants to buck up and flip backwards too easily... but I can get mine and my Dad's yards mowed and that's all that matters. ... show more

  • Twisting problems
Hansel’s will not lock on to the mower Handel bars, tried 3 different things. But they won’t keep the unit from twisting around as you used the mower. I had to drill a hole through the steering unit and the handle bars and put a bolt through it to keep it from twisting around as I used it. Your design needs work ... show more

  • Nice upgrade, with caveats.
Solid piece of kit that is well-built out of solid material. Simple to install and is intuitive to use. I have a minor worry about how long the foam grip will last, but I'd guess that, even if it doesn't last, it'll be cheap to replace. Easy five stars, but my mower ruined the perfect rating. I have a Badboy Maverick HD, and the control arms are quite stiff and twitchy. FAR stiffer and twitchier than the Ariens I just upgraded from. Since they're so twitchy, using the Zero-Turn Bar is quite difficult, even on straightaways where a bump in the lawn is likely to throw you off by a foot or more and, since the control arms are stiff, it's fairly fatiguing to boot. The machine only has 10 hours or so so I'm hoping it'll break in and I can reap the advantages of the ZTB, but for now, I'm stuck using two hands. ... show more

  • Solidly built
I really like the design and the solid build. Really simplifies the drive and gives me a free hand to fight off the occasional bug.

  • Not like the video
When I first got it. It was stiff and hard to attach, then it got worse. Now the quick connection ends are very hard to open. One hand steering is very hard and hurts my wrist. Not easy like the video shows.
