Whole psyllium hull FLAKES, rather than powder, is MUCH more effective for bowel cleansing/movement purposes. I've been doing this for decades, have tried both, and found whole hull flakes to be hands-down way more effective for consistent daily bm's!! Not sure why flakes are so much harder to find than powder??? That's why I LOVE this brand... a BIG bag of whole flakes at a tremendous value, which I buy again and again.     • Turns into a think gel when mixed in liquids

If you put it in liquid to drink, don’t let it sit too long because it turns into a thick gel. I put a tbs in my coffee and couldn’t finish it because it became a thick gel halfway into drinking it. I think it would be best mixed in soft solid foods.
