Another update: I introduced this to my godson he purchased a bottle he says it's incredible and he loves how it makes him feel.... I will see if he has time to write a review... I introduced this to my Goddaughter and another Godson.... they purchased two.... they introduced it to their family and yes all of them love this shiliajit. There is one other brand I like as much and yet there is a distinct difference with the two. I couldn't tell you which one I like more for they react differently and pleasantly. This one I get 65 grams more for five to ten dollars less. Nothing wrong with that....However, even with the price and quantity difference I don't care I like them both and I will continue using both. Update:I've tried a more expressive one here on Amazon and I did like it however it is not as effective as this one. I have one more (other brand) coming May fifth....I'll update this a week later. I still feel this shilajit is outstanding. I also, bought six more of these cute little containers because I want to make sure I don't run out for a long time. I haven't tried any other brand but this one....i had never heard of shilajit until a friend from Seattle said "you gotta try this stuff" so I got on amazon and looked at every kind/brand they sold ... I I went with this one....I first put it into a morning smoothie....quite an interesting taste... however I wasn't that keen on it.... I tried it in warm water.... no thank you.... then I got one of my gelatin capsules and with a small stainless steel knitting needle I gooped up some with the needle ... put it into the capsule and with my smoothie swallowed it.... I love love love how it makes me feel.... I don't just have more energy my brain feels just a bit more alive, alert, focused, and at the same time calm.... I have an ADD brain and I usually drink very very strong coffee in the morning and late at night (yes to calm my brain down for the day or to go to sleep at night) but after 43 years my stomach just wasn't happy with the coffee anymore...i have been struggling with my brain trying meditation and numerous other things this last year.... I'm glad I did because I do enjoy learning all about meditation but I needed help and this shilajit is just plain wonderful.... I'm so glad I got it...it helps and maybe in the next few years I'll get better at this meditation stuff however in the meantime my brain gets its coffee fix without the coffee.

I’ve been purchasing Shilajit for the past 5-10 years. This is my favorite brand and form (resin) to purchase. In general, Shilajit offers me and my son’s increased energy and raises our chi (sex energy). The current jar I received was softer with a higher viscosity than my previous jars. We prefer to roll our Shilajit into small pea sized balls and take them like “pills”. This batch also had a slightly different flavor. I was more salty than bitter and smoky. I reached out to the company to give them my feedback and to inquire if this was normal. They quickly responded and informed me that the variations I noted were normal because different batches come from different mountains. Then they went “above and beyond”. They researched the batch I previously received and offered to send a new jar of it to me FREE OF CHARGE. I quickly accepted their offer. Once I sent them my address, they (Natasha) confirmed that they would be sending 2 additional jars of Shilajit. One from a previous original batch and another from their “newest” batch for me to compare. Again, I was pleasantly surprised by their generous and uncommon offer. I’ll definitely be purchasing more Shilajit from this company in the future.

I love this product! AND it smells and tastes awful! But...It has helped me get off of B12 shots. I believe it works by optimizing the minerals you are missing. So it helped me feel better up to the point that the missing minerals were being replaced. I have a lot of health issues so improving even one of them is a good thing. There is no way I can just put this into a liquid of any kind and drink it. It smells and tastes like I imagine tar tastes like mixed with a little turpentine for top notes. Ugh. So...I decided since it comes from the tops of mountains it couldn't hurt it to freeze it. I take a small amount out with the point of a sturdy knife (no small feat as it is, well, thick as tar and as sticky) and form into little balls on waxed paper. I then freeze them and put them into a plastic container after frozen. Then every morning I pop one in my mouth and drink it down quickly. Yay! No taste, well very minimum taste anyway. This stuff is hell getting out of the jar, BTW. The jar is attractive with it's angled corners but impossible to get all the "primordial ooze" out of it. Melting in a pot of simmering water helps but it would really help if the jar was round. Enough complaints. From research on the web, I find that this seems to meet all the criteria for a good Shilijit. Black, tar like and melts completely in water with no residue left over. Highly recommend. Update: It's been several years I've been using this now as I age. I have definitely noticed a big improvement in my brain function when using that goes back down when I don't. Still hate the jar though. LOL.

Wow, this is a really good And cost effective alternative for Pure Black. I had my doubts but I’m pretty happy with this brand. IMO Pure Black does give me 30% more Energy using a smaller dose but I just can’t See myself spending nearly $100 for 1/3 of the product that I get with Pure Shilajit. If PS gets me 70% where I need to be then I’m good with that. As With all Good shilajit, if you are sensitive, DO NOT TAKE AT NIGHT. You’ll be Calmly up All night. Also, the taste is quite terrible - take a small spoon full of honey before and after to help with the taste.

Having read many, many reviews I was very excited to receive my Shilajit. I immediately unpacked it and tried a pea sized amount mixed into warm water. I waited for the amazing feeling of energy to overtake me..............and.................nothing. Not a thing. I was sooo disappointed. I searched again online to see what may have gone wrong and found some people who noticed the extra energy after four days. So........I decided to stick with it. Nearly a whole week later, I was working a twelve hour day and........I was fine. I was doing pretty physical work, and I had no break even for lunch and I was just fine. Hmmmm. It seemed to be working, it just wasn't noticeable except in the absence of fatigue. The next day about 30 minutes after taking it, I did notice something. I felt a very nice sense of well being and solidity. I'm not sure how else to describe it other than I just felt very solid and powerful. Unlike some energy generating herbs there is absolutely zero "buzz." No jitters. No zoomy feeling. Just solid, quiet, powerful endurance. It felt very grounding. It was kind of poetic to feel such a solid powerful quiet feeling from something that oozed up out of a mountain. Anyway, give it time if you do not immediately feel a result. I am not sure what is going on that makes it take a while for some people, but it apparently does take a while for some people. And be prepared for a subtle effect. It is not a caffeine buzz, (thank goodness) it is just energy that endures for substantially longer than normal. For me I also seem to feel more grounded and less anxious than my normal personality. I like it.

This is a good product if other antidepressants anti anxiety prescriptions don’t work for you or if you prefer to use a natural product like this. It’s pretty strong and I could feel the effects get stronger each day the four days I took it. It does taste like tar and it has the consistency of tar; but the results outweigh the negative taste. I had to stop taking it because the effects were too strong for me at half the recommended dose; as strong as a prescription antidepressant I have taken in the past and could not tolerate. The company recommended another type of Shilajit they offer that I’m going to try and despite the taste I’m hoping it will be a winner. The Shilajit, Mongolian is definitely a winner. Again I just take half the recommended dose and it works wonderfully. My anxiety is lowered shortly after ingesting it and my neck and shoulder pain, due to stress, disappears. I totally recommend it and this company. A+

Missing the strong smell and nasty taste. Must be filled with molasses etc.. Can't get over that I can only smell a hint of shilajit and a slight taste of it. The funny thing is it passed all the home test.

I am changing my review from 3 to 5 but overall this product and business deserve a 10! without reaching out, I received an e-mail with apologies and insuring that what I got was a bad batch. I got credit for my purchase without asking for it and they sent me free replacement. The one I got directly from overseas, I tasted it today and it was really really good! OMG I loved it. what a difference! - I will definitely be purchasing it again :-) FYI: I use it as my regular black coffee substitute and I can drink it without sugar because it is softer and less bitter than coffee. It was very easy to quit coffee with Shilajit... Only when I feel extremely tired due to lack of sleep, I add 1/4 or 1/2 cup black coffee to my cup of Shilajit and I can function perfectly the rest of the day! I will definitely be purchasing it again! I want to say big thanks to Siberian Treasure Store for caring and standing by your product and showing me how great it is... I am very happy to know it was a bad batch and not a product modification. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! =============================== This my #6 bottle of Shilajit. Unfortunately the last one I purchased in May had a layer of clear oil. This is not Pure as stated. Oil is not stated in ingredient. SO what kind of OIL is used, when most oils are GMO's. Will not be purchasing anymore... It's a coffee substitute for me since it taste very similar but much lighter and less bitter than coffee. If someone knows of a good affordable brand please let me know. Thank you!
