The Tazer JL Mini is a device specifically designed for your vehicle. It unlocks features and allows existing features to perform in unique ways. The Tazer JL Mini features can be broken into three categories. Vehicle Settings are accessed with the engine OFF and the ignition in the “RUN” position. These are changes made to the Jeep such as tire size, gear ratios or settings which accommodate other upgrades. These changes will continue to operate after the Tazer JL Mini is unplugged. Live Functions are accessed with the engine ON. These are operations the Tazer JL Mini performs live, only while it is physically connected plugged in. “Non-Menu” Live Functions are not located in a menu. They are activated automatically or with a steering wheel button combination. These are operations the Tazer JL Mini performs live, only while it is physically connected. Features are all accessed using the dash display, using steering wheel buttons to navigate the menus. The Tazer JL Mini has a simple installation - simply unplug the SGW module and plug the Tazer JL Mini in its place. Located above the OBD2 Diagnostic connector. Setup was straightforward: plug it into the OBD port, follow the on-screen prompts, and you are into a deep menu of vehicle settings without needing a laptop on the garage floor. I spent the first evening walking through the options that matter for a daily-driven JL — lighting behavior, start/stop related prefs, and the off-road modes — and the interface is clear enough that I did not need a second manual open beside me. What sold me in real use is how quickly those changes stick and stay useful. Rock Crawl and related off-road tweaks make trail sections feel more intentional instead of fighting the stock calibration. Anti-theft pin lock is the feature I actually care about when the Jeep sits at trailheads or overnight parking; it is the kind of peace-of-mind setting you want baked into the vehicle, not bolted on with another gadget.     • A must have for Jeep owners...
This was the second upgrade for my new jeep and the second upgrade I would recommend to any jeep owner (if you have the 3.6 liter, my first recommendation would be the oil filter adapter to save your cam shaft). Yes, this allows you to do some pretty nifty things with your jeep, but many of the options are practical as well. The "light show" can be cool and it is nice to be able to turn off the three beeps when you exit your running vehicle with the keys in your pocket, BUT, turning off the auto-stop/start is a huge upgrade. If you offroad with the lockers on, being able to lock the rear inside tire to shorten your turn radius is huge as well. Even if you are just a mall crawler, turning on the hood alarm is a great feature so you don't have to worry about someone stealing your battery from your very accessible engine compartment. Tons of built in benefits like converting your lights to LED, changing tire size or gearing makes this a very good upgrade. Also underated but I use it is the ability to turn on the rearview camera when the blinker is engaged... It is amazing how much more you can see with this activated while turning or changing lanes.     • Works as advertised but install was annoying
If you are looking to get more control of you Jeep's computer than this is certainly a good tool. The install is very annoying though if you have large hands. I physically could not get my hand to where it needed to go to disconnect the two wires. If you have any intention of connecting and disconnecting frequently I would definitely recommend getting the extension cable too to save your knuckles. ... show more

Bought this device for my new 2024 Jeep Rubicon. It is a game changer. It promptly eliminated the auto stop start feature, which was tremendously frustrating. It does so flawlessly and can be easily returned to the factory mode at the push of a button. It also has a built-in light show feature that can be activated from the remote that’s pretty amazing and turns your vehicles lighting into warning lights. It also provides you access to other features, such as extending the time that the home link Door Opener system remains operational after you turn the car off. It also provides the opportunity to turn the center brake light to flash at designated number of times that you set which help helps increase its visibility when you apply the brakes especially if you do so abruptly. I’ve had this product for 10 days and it’s a must to have if you are annoyed by the constant stopping and starting of your vehicle at traffic lights and other places where you need to stop your vehicle frequently. It’s relatively easy to install and takes just a few minutes once you can locate the two plugs that have to be unplugged from the Jeep and plugged into the device. Once that is done, the device is operational. Recommend that you review some YouTube videos on how to access the wires that need to be plugged into the device. Highly recommend. UPDATE: The product continues to operate flawlessly. Before I installed the device I would get very frustrated when my Jeep would hesitant at a traffic light because of the OEM stop/start feature. Recently, I have been stoplights beside a vehicle that has the stop/start feature and I can hear their vehicle turn off, and when the light turns green, I'm well into the intersection before their vehicle starts and they begin moving. Such a great tool. Super easy to install and setup. Lots of fun things you can do to your car, but best value for me was retaining the status of the start/stop mode selection (KEEP IT TURNED OFF) and adjust the speedo for larger tires. Totally worth it.

    • A Must-Have Upgrade for Any 2022 Rubicon 392 Owner
If you own a 2022 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392, this is one of those upgrades you’ll wonder how you ever lived without. The HEMI is incredible from the factory, but the Tazer Mini unlocks so many features Jeep should have given us in the first place. It arrived quickly and was packaged well with everything protected. Installation was straightforward, and the instructions were easy to follow. I highly recommend purchasing the SGW Extension Cable at the same time. It makes installation and future dealer visits much easier since you won’t have to keep reaching up behind the dash to remove the Tazer. It’s an inexpensive accessory that’s absolutely worth adding- What impressed me most is how much functionality is packed into such a small device. Being able to customize the Jeep exactly the way I wanted—from Auto Start/Stop memory and TPMS settings to tire size calibration, Light Show, Winch Mode, camera features, and countless other options—completely changes the ownership experience. Even on a fully loaded Rubicon 392, there are still plenty of useful features waiting to be unlocked- The programming process was simple, and I appreciated that I could make changes using the factory steering wheel controls without needing a laptop. The menus were intuitive, and after a little exploring, it became easy to customize the Jeep exactly how I wanted it. One of my favorite features is finally having control over settings that always seemed buried or unavailable from the factory. The build quality is excellent, and this feels like a professional product rather than a generic tuner. If you’ve invested in a Rubicon 392, spending a little more to personalize it with the Tazer Mini is money well spent. If I could offer one piece of advice, it would be to order the SGW Extension Cable at the same time. It costs very little but makes ownership much more convenient. There’s also an optional OBD extension cable if you prefer to relocate or hide the module after installation.
