I ordered this for the summer. It's very light with a textured surface that feels quilt-like. The fabric material is 70% bamboo rayon and 30% cotton. Note that this is single layered and does not have a silky/smooth side as on most other comforters. That said, it is still comfortable enough to use for sleeping, and thin enough to be easily pushed aside without taking up too much room. I like the light cool durable material. This is a beautiful and well-made light blanket that would work as a coverlet all by itself, as a blanket above a top sheet, or as a throw for the couch. The texture is soft and a bit silky without being as slippery as bamboo alone can be. Great fabric combo, cotton plus bamboo, yielding softness, a bit of warmth, and potential for cooling. I ordered this blanket for my Queen size bed. Or should I say my dog's Queen size bed? She just lets me share it! I love this bamboo-derived rayon - it's comfy and cool and fur doesn't stick to it! I recently had an issue with my dog's fur clogging the drain hose of my washer. She just sheds so much and when I wash the bedding, lots of fur gets sucked into the washer/dryer system.
