I’ve had this for a couple of months now and it has survived relatively well. In the past I have used adjustable grip strength trainers that have snapped and tried to take my eye out; no risk of that here! There are frequent pauses in my work, so this thing is seeing multiple sets of 15 reps or more and has not shown any signs of wear. Would have been nice if the cushions that came with it fit; but that’s a quality of life thing that I have long since overcome. Great for building your grip if you’re looking to boost your deadlift or chin ups/pull ups. Pass it to your pencil neck buddies and watch them struggle! Lmao ... show more

I'm trying to build more muscle in my forearms and my wrists and these hand grips really have been helping. I bought foam grippers because I have a thing with my hand smelling like metal but even without them, I have never had an issue with my hands slipping from when using them. The handles have a really great grip pattern on them that really do prevent from anyone's hands from slipping while using them. While I did purchase these for myself, the rest of my family has been using them as well and they really do make you work for getting them to get close. The one I ordered came with several different ones that simulates different weights and has been great and helpful when it comes to moving up rather than just the same weight. I didn't know 100lbs was going to be as tough as it is, but I'm not complaining. Its a great resistance for the training I need. My one problem is I have no idea how to get the grip pads on. I'm not one to use them for most workouts, but man that steal going into your hand with 100lbs resistance.... well it makes you tougher. ... show more

    • Good but spring loses stiffness

The product is really good, I have not had any issues with build quality or durability in the month that I've had it. However the spring is not as stiff as it once was. Originally I could not close it at all and I let quite a few people try aswell to gauge how much they could close it. Then I trained and after 2 weeks I was able to close it if I held the spring so it didn't slip and I used this to train the strength. After training for about another 2 weeks I can now close it without the need to hold the spring and while this can be attributed to my gain in strength, the spring DID in fact get easier because the group of people whom I let test it in the beginning could get farther than before. While no one I have met in person and let tried has been able to close it, including my friend who also has been training grippers, I believe it is worth mentioning that this would be hard to gauge how MUCH stronger you became since after a while it will no longer be as resistant as it was out of the box. Apart from this I believe the construction is solid. As of yet I have not had any issues with the handles spinning how some say and no issues with paint chipping and I take this with me everywhere. I do believe the handles are quite thin and the knurling is not very grippy which makes it really prone to slipping and more difficult to close. However with practice I was able to overcome this issue. I will update if any issues arise but as of right now, 1 month out, I think it is deserving of 4 stars. ... show more
