this is a perfect console, buffet, cabinet. i use it for my office and holds all my paper-work. the one cabinet works fine as storage for wine. thank goodness i own a drill otherwise this would have taken many hours as opposed to few hours. the instructions could have been better and it did take two of us to put this together. as an aside, neither one of us had done this before so it took us longer. i am sure to be a pro with any other piece i assemble.

Bought the Espresso color. Was hesitant to order this table based on the occasional negative review. There were issues with the table pieces but overall satisfied with the completed table. As most others have said, it takes a long time to assemble. Took 4 hours despite being forewarned about the poor instructions. Read through them twice to avoid having to disassemble anything later. Even so, made a mistake with the drawer glides. Used a SMALL electric drill to control the speed and not overdrill a screw. Pros 1. Table came early by 5 days. 2. All the pieces were there and none broken, with a few extra screws. 3. Looks beautiful, as the picture shows. Pieces fit together fairly well with only small gaps, mostly unnoticeable unless you know to look for them. 4. Very study once completed 5. Price was acceptable. Not great, but affordable. 6. Dimensions are true to size. Cons 1. Got two right side doors even though they were labeled as A (for right) and B (for left). Was able to move the magnetic strike plate to change one into the left door. So ultimately not an issue. 2. A few dings in the wood but no major scratches as other reviewers have had. A furniture marker can cover that, but this indicates very soft wood / poor finish which will continue to occur. 3. Bought plexiglass to protect the top from the inevitable scratches as this will be a very heavily used piece in the kitchen. Extra expense but a viable solution. It also mars the overall look but a necessary evil. 4. Instructions for drawer installation are very poor. Screwed in the runners on the drawer upside down at first. Once that was fixed, the original screw holes on the cabinet lined up perfectly. Keep the runners together until you are ready to install them so you know how they mate and how they should be oriented when you screw them in. 5. Bottom of drawers are incredibly weak. CANNOT put anything heavy in the drawer. We plan on reinforcing the bottom with strips of wood as support. 6. Backboard is same material as drawer bottom, but not an issue since it does not interfere with the table’s function. But do not expect real wood for the backer. It is a reasonable option for a piece of furniture if you are not looking for a forever piece to pass down to your children. Be aware you may need to modify it to some degree depending on what you use it for.

The box arrived before the promised date. The box was heavy and well-packaged inside so there was no damage to the table. The assembly was not difficult, although the instructions were vague on exactly how to position the drawer hinges and I spent some time trouble-shooting their placement. The quality is good and the end product is beautiful! It did have a strong paint odor out of the box, but quickly dissipated and I don't even notice it now. Love this table!

I waited almost 2 years to get this table in beige. It is just beautiful and well-made. One word of caution, though, when you assemble the drawers, don't pay much attention to the instructions. Take extra care in attaching the gliders on both the drawers and on the sides of the drawers. I had to take everything apart twice to get them to work properly. Also, unlike the assembly picture, each glider has a wheel. The picture looks like there are two gliders with wheels and 2 without wheels. I also assembled the gliders attached to the drawer bottom the wrong way. If you are having problems getting the drawers to close properly, this is the problem. Lastly, there are assembly instructions on Youtube if you look hard enough. This table is well worth the money for sure.

Awesome little cabinet! I’ll be using it as a coffee bar. Seems very sturdy and was well packaged. Super easy to put together but it does have quite a few pieces so it is time consuming. Took me about an hour and a half to put it together by myself.

I wanted a hallway table/cabinet to put my holiday village on which changes throughout the year. I wanted something tall enough that my daughter wouldn’t be able to grab small pieces and put them in her mouth as she was learning to walk. Inside the cabinet, I store her small shoes and jackets, and on top I keep my village of miniature buildings, people, creatures. On the bottom shelf are things that are safe for her to reach (and that shelf is often very messy because of this). My daughter has now caught up to the height of the cabinet top, but at nearly three years old, she is old enough to understand not to put things in her mouth.

The items for assembly were labeled, which is a plus. However, the booklet and the actual assembly was somewhat confusing and could have been clearly labeled with better pictures. The doors and the rails for the drawers were actually backward...so had to redo those. The front and back of the shelves isn't clear in the picture because everything lines up either way. It's nice, but not as sturdy and tightly fitting together as I would have hoped. Sadly--I paid way too much for this shoddy quality.
