Have been using 3 times a week for about two months. First week I used level 2 the switched to the level 3. All still have resistance and haven't broken one yet. I have a desk job and it took about 3 to 4 weeks to Lessen the back of hand pain and wrist pain from using a mouse and keyboard all day. I will continue to use them 2 to 3 times a week to keep pain away. Edit as of 5/11/23 the level 3 extensors are tearing. Going to contact for warranty.     • 3rd time's the charm
I've had those cheap extenders that come in green/blue/orange, and I've had the Portholic all black ones. The black ones were better quality and strength than the colored ones, but I still ended up snapping the level 4 after 2 months. I just bought these, so I can't say how durable they are, but it's a much better workout. I get a much stronger burn and pump from these than any other extender. My only complaint is how tight the holes are for your fingers. It's as if it was designed for Asian women. No matter, they come in pairs so even thought it takes time getting on and off, you can have one on each hand for the duration of the workout and it actually saves time. Worked great for hand pain! Try this before you have surgery. Corrects muscle imbalance which causes pain in the thumb joint in your hand. Highly recommend for mechanics and guitarists!

When I got these it was the first time I had ever used this type of apparatus. I moved through the first 2 level strength bands very quick. Used the 3rd level for a couple weeks, until one broke and I was forced to go up to the 4th (13.2lb.) Bands. Overall I am very pleased and can really tell the difference. So far I am still on the white one, but initially I was only able to do 3/day. Now I am up to 25/day. So I feel like it is giving me some strength in my fingers. Would definitely recommend.

I just got these recently after having had a set of Iron Mind Expand Your Hand Bands for several years. I never made it past the second difficulty on the old ones and hadn't used them for years. I've been climbing more regularly recently and just took up bass, so I figured I should give it a go, but they were dry and brittle from age so I got these new ones. I like the finger loops. Have been using the Level 1 bands consistently for about a week, but too early to notice results. So long as they hold up over time, I think I'll be happy with this product. ... show more
