I was skeptical but this thing held up on a family cross country trip from Houston to Los Angeles. Stayed put once torqued down to 60 ft lbs. it’s not the easiest rack to load and unload and we had to use a couple gym Velcro straps to secure 2 of the bikes since the hook that holds the frame is really meant for bikes of equal height (all 4 of our bikes were different frame sizes including a 12 inch kids bike). All in all for <$250 I can’t complain as it’s heavy duty and should last a few years of use. Installation takes a little time with hand tools and instructions aren’t too bad. Use a torque wrench to 37 ft/lbs for the main bolts and 60 ft lbs for the tow hitch bolt. ... show more

Very easy to put together. Pretty solid rack, loaded 4 bikes on it and tested it out. I would recommend getting a hitch stabilizer because it will rock a bit without one.
