  • FIXED: Keeps stopping after 5 seconds
UPDATE 3: I love this thing! 2 tricks: if you're on a low setting, you need to stomp-walk to keep it from stopping. The other option is to up the speed, which I've been opting for--more of a workout, which isn't a bad thing! It has been reliable and is such an amazing option to sitting all day. The start up beeping sounds are a bit loud, but other than that it's relatively quiet, even at the highest setting. I keep a towel over it when not in use to keep the cats from sleeping on it directly and to keep dirt from accumulating on it. The cats are allowed to sleep on it with a towel over it though, so extra points as a cat bed. UPDATE 2: I just read S's comment re. the same issue. And semi-stomp walking on the treadmill seems to keep it from stopping! I guess b/c I'm not wearing shoes, the treadmill isn't sensing my walking properly. Believe me, I am not thin by any means, so it's not as if there's nobody on the treadmill. Customer Service should add this into their Troubleshooting Guide. I will add more stars if this thing last a few months. UPDATE: The company sent me a reply after a few days, which is basically 2 full pages of troubleshooting video links to watch regarding taking apart the machine. I will have to wait until I have a a free day to do this. ORIGINAL POST: I wrote customer service. Seems like a decent product, but not if I have to keep starting it literally every 5 seconds. Hoping there's a quick fix, otherwise sending this back will be terrible---it takes 2 people to carry. Nice that you can fit it under a desk though. ... show more

  • Perfect for my desk area to get steps in while I work!
I was having trouble choosing between this and another and the other was about $100 more but went to faster speeds. Ultimately I chose this one because I was really getting this to get my steps in while I work at my sit stand and didn’t foresee myself moving the other one around much in order to run on it. I was a little perturbed at first because Amazon noted a Friday delivery date and I didn’t end up getting it until Monday. Now that I have it, though, I’m 100 percent happy and sure I made the right decision. The measurements are exactly as noted and it fits right into my desk foot area so I am able to push it in a bit so that when I walk I am not having to reach forward for my keyboard, it’s all right there. I will update if any issues but so far Im very happy. It’s pretty quiet, as quiet as a treadmill can be! I also bought the Asurion warranty Amazon offers for $25 which says it’s good for 2 years just in case. Hopefully I won’t have to use but when spending $300 & seeing some reviews, I figured it would at least help me feel a bit better! Hope this helps! ***Update: It’s now been two weeks since receiving the treadmill and it is worth EVERY PENNY! I use it intermittently throughout the day M-F when I’m working and usually do 1.8-2.2 easily while I’m working on excel or reading & replying emails. I track my steps and goal is 10K a day. I used to get busy and stuck at my desk and then would have to walk around my house all evening to try and meet my goal. Now I easily end my working day just under goal, if not over. I’ve been consistently getting 15-20K steps a day now that I’m able to get exercise in while I work at my desk and have lost two pounds that Ive been trying to lose for months! Those stubborn pounds seem to have slid off now that Im more active! I wish I would have purchased this MONTHS ago when I first started working from home. If I have to go back in my office, Im going to beg and plead that I be allowed to bring this in. It’s quiet, small, and allows me to keep my blood moving and get my steps in without having to leave my desk! If you’re on the fence, buy the Asurion protection through Amazon for $25 for the peace of mind in case any issues and GET THIS. You and your health won’t regret it! Just remember to go slow at first if you’re using while working and make sure space to fit the top of the treadmill under your workspace so you can walk right up at your desk without having to reach. The measurements are spot on. I had a small opening and this fit like a charm! See pics and ask if any questions! My IG is @amandabrookers and I also posted a video there. I am not in any way affliated to this company - I just love the product and know how hard it is to make big purchases so happy to help! ... show more

  • Great product - horrible customer service
The remote, which is the only way to work this treadmill, did not work when I received this product. I purchased new batteries and that also did not work. I contacted Sunny's customer service, and after submitting the required documentation that they requested, I waited and waited for my replacement remote. Finally, I contacted Amazon and they immediately sent me out a whole new treadmill, that I simply took out the working remote, and sent back the treadmill to Amazon, as they informed me to do. Luckily I did this before the 30 day return policy, as when I did receive the replacement remote from Sunny, it was not the correct one for my treadmill. When I finally was able to actually use the treadmill, I determined that it is perfect for what I wanted it for - walking while I watch television. It's very portable, and easy to stand it up in the corner of the room, to get it out of the way. I have not tried working on my laptop while using it, but, it is thin/small enough so that it could easily fit under my stand up desk. Word of warning - there are no arms and the walking pad is on the narrow side, so you do need to take care while on it, although there is a safety clip that you can use to turn the machine off if it is pulled off. Despite the annoyance of Sunny's poor customer service, I would buy this product again. ... show more

  • Excellent. Have never walked as much as I do now!
This has been excellent so far. I use it during work whenever I’m not on Zoom meetings, and I legitimately get in more steps now than I did before the pandemic when I was commuting on public transit to the office and generally out & about much more often. I wasn’t entirely sure how to handle moving it out from under my desk each time I wanted to sit to work again—it’s not very heavy and it has wheels so it can move pretty easily, but my workspace is a bit small, and I worried that having to get it out and put it away each time would be the excuse my brain needed to forget to keep using it. What I did instead: my sit-stand desk is on casters, and my workspace is 5 feet wide, the width of my desk, by just under 10 feet long. I push the desk all the way to the far wall with the treadmill under it when I want to walk, and when I want to sit, I pull the desk forward over and a bit past the treadmill, leaving enough room for my chair between my desk and the near wall. So the treadmill and my chair stay in their respective places on either end of the space, and my desk moves back and forth between them. It’s great. Highly recommend. (One note: the first treadmill I received did not work. I turned it on and nothing happened except the on/off switch lighting up. I contacted Sunny Health & Fitness and they suggested I try opening the motor casing and seeing if a certain wire was obstructed by glue, which may well have worked, but I couldn’t figure out how to get the casing off and didn’t want to risk pulling at it and breaking it. Amazon was a big help and sent a replacement treadmill, and arranged free pickup for the defective one once I received the replacement and confirmed that it worked. Replacement has worked great, no issues. I have several other pieces of equipment from Sunny Health & Fitness as well and love all of it, and this is no exception.) ... show more

  • GREAT PRODUCT for the Corporate LAWYERS, not for the Consumer
If you are an ambulance chaser you will be very disappointed in this product. They have engineered all of the liability out of it. If you are a fair and reasonable user who wishes to utilize this as a fitness machine while you are forced to work from home during the health crisis, you will be detrimentally impacted by the dysfunction from these measures. This unit is marketed and configured as an underdesk treadmill. This is how I am utilizing it, and have a computer workstation on the desk above. It is marketed to use underdesk to stay fit and productive at the same time. Mousing and typing while walking on a treadmill introduces a lot of 'noise' into the precision. In order to mitigate this you must take the long established treadmill practice of stepping on the side rails momentarily. You can then execute a couple of commands on the workstation and then return to your pacing. This unit does not allow this however. After perhaps 5 seconds without steps, the unit stops the belt running as if you hit the stop command. You must then restart it. Wait for the 3 second countdown to start at the 0.2 mph crawling speed. Then hit the increase button on the remote numerous times to get it back to pace (about 9-12 clicks for me). This is utterly dysfunctional in terms of both staying productive and fit. I have tried to manage by focusing ever so harder on mousing and typing - impossible. I have tried by just going through the dreaded startup and bring to pace hassle - far too frequent and distracting. This feature is unnecessary, because like every other treadmill, this unit also has the widely and historically utilized magnetic clip that will stop the treadmill for safety reasons. This should make their lawyers happy, but I guess they need more. Innovation in this case has not only harmed the function of the unit, but also will not protect the manufacturer from liability as well as the magnetic clip. The 5 second delay with the active-use detection is too long to prevent injury. They should just rely on the magnetic clip, which is instantaneous. Hey ambulance chasers, how much damage can occur in 5 seconds? Here is your opportunity to sue! Other gripe: The unit is intended to be used under a desk, however the display is obstructed by the desk. The display should read on the remote. If there is constraint there with having remote, apparent it could be a wired remote. Why do you need wireless? Other gripe: The remote buttons are dysfunctional. The start and pause are too often unintentionally pressed when intending to press the + button to increase speed. The effect of this is the dreaded startup and bring to speed hassle noted above. The The unit is solidly constructed and runs well, but the function renders it useless. Well not entirely true. The friction from walking on the belt builds up a lot of heat. The unit comes with oil and a schedule to add, but I found it needs it every few uses, not after a billion hours or whatever their schedule requires. Additionally quality control: On initial power up, the unit would not run. I tried reset. I tried to plug in again. No remedy. I wrote the company. They had me disassemble the unit to access the wiring and then check all of the connections. Really? I am the QC for this unit manufacture? Well again it seemed quality built, and I found nothing noticeably wrong. I reassembled and still not run. I tried again and again over the next day or two and at one point the unit just started running. No cause and effect, just unexplainable. But it was running, so I just accepted. ... show more

  • For the price, simplicity, and function, happy with this purchase
The product is fully assembled basically out of the box. You just unwrap it and plug it in. It's about as loud as any of the other standard treadmills I've had (I've had 3 regular treadmills prior to buying this). I bought this for my home office desk since I'm working from home thru the end of the year and just not finding time to exercise these days. It is compact for sure. The length of the belt may be problematic for people who are tall (with long legs). I am 5' 4" and 120lbs, my walking stride on this is comfortable but I imagine if you're tall, and/or your stride is long, this might not be a good match. Very simple, no bells or whistles, but very budget friendly compared to some of the $1000+ "desk friendly" treadmills I've seen. The speed seems true to what it says. I did see a review that said they had to increase it past 2mph to actually be at that speed. I dont think that's the case for me (not sure if it's dependent on weight or if they had a defective product). I bought the 2yr warranty on this bc who knows about longevity. I will update my review once I've had it for longer. Overall though, happy with my purchase! PS: I noticed that it went down by $9 since I purchased it but it still seems like a good deal. ... show more

  • Pretty good with some usability annoyances
Set name: Treadpad
Overall a nice treadmill. It’s big and heavy. It doesn’t seem terribly loud (though I don’t have anything to campare it to) and perhaps more importantly, the noise it does make is a pleasant white noise, not high-pitched or squeaky. The incline works well and it’s surprisingly useful. After the first month I pretty much always have the incline at max, 6. I removed a star because the app is awful. You have to dive deep into multiple levels of menus to start the damn thing. Then you have to stop the treadmill before you can go back to the screen which shows you stats. I gave up on the app and just use the remote. So I don’t get any daily stats or anything like that. The machine does show stats on the screen but it stops and resets every 99 minutes, another annoyance and it means that I can’t see my full day of stats on the screen. I also removed a star because occasionally the treadmill just stops randomly (before the end of 99 minutes), as if I had pressed the pause button on the remote even though I wasn’t even holding the remote. I thought it might have been something wrong with the remote so they sent me a new remote. But it has the same issue. So it has some annoying usability issues but overall I’m pretty happy with it. ... show more

  • Fast shipping, ideal for quiet indoor walks.
I got this treadmill and also a small folding exercise bike at the same time. I am older, and with the covid virus I have been sheltering at home. I clearly haven't been getting enough exercise. I have fallen into a pattern of too much chair time. I am worried my weight will go up and my overall health decline. Although I can tell that I need to be moving around more I have had a hard time finding ways to accomplish that. This treadmill is proving to be just what I need, inexpensive and pretty basic. It is just right to provide that extra exercise I need during the day to make up for not being able to mall walk, swim, walk to visit neighbors etc. This is not the treadmill for you if you are into heavy, pounding, gym workouts because it is just not a heavy duty, incline, interval training, sweat up into a lather kind of treadmill. But if you want to hop on and walk for a couple of miles now and again throughout the day (brisk walk, short stroll whatever) or exercise at a desk it is ideal. It is Quiet. Tranquil walking is possible. The treadmill makes a quiet whirring sound and my feet make a sort of soft slapping sound as I walk. Certainly neighbors in adjoining apartments could not hear someone walking on it. You can watch tv while walking if you want- stroll through Downton Abbey or whatever. I have set my phone on speaker and when I talk no one has been able to hear it in the background, although if I get a little breathless they DO hear that. something to consider if you are using it in a home office setting. For a piece of usable fitness equipment it is quite unobtrusive. I have this in my bedroom by the bed. It fits underneath but I leave it out so I can just hop on for 15 minutes or so whenever I want and it looks fine. I found when I first started I did need to have something, a chair, or bedpost, to grab and steady myself occasionally while I was getting used to it but I adjusted quickly and now I do not feel that I need anything to hold onto. Just something to note before you climb on. ... show more
