Most treadmills in this price range lack certain functionality which this one includes. If you're doing your research and you have an idea of what factors are important to you consider some of the options offered here. The things important to me are: 1. Safe and secure folding mechanism - The hydraulic arm is dependable in case kids are playing where they are not allowed. 2. Width of the running belt 3. Shock absorption 4. Top speed - 9MPH, (5-7 is average jogging speed) 5. Modern interface - Best in its class Things that were not important to me that were a very nice touch are: 1. Auto-incline - This is huge, I realize now how much I would have hated manual incline 2. Max-incline - 15 degrees is rather steep and feels nice 3. Built-in Speakers 4. Step counter 5. Track display The box was very heavy and tricky to get into my lower level, but doable with a partner. Its mostly assembled, just 6 bolts which took less than 10 minutes. This treadmill looks great and functions great. It was very easy to assemble. It has several speeds and inclines both of which can be adjusted on the console and also on the handles for easy access while exercising. The treadmill surface is wide enough and long enough to work out comfortably. It does fold for storage but I leave mine out. I do need to use an extension cord with it because the treadmill cord is not very long. I purchased a heavy duty black power strip. I love this treadmill. This came a day early. It is quite heavy. Tried it out for a good 30 minute workout and everything works as it should im very pleased with my purchase. I mainly bought for the automatic incline option the cup holder and phone stand. It was easy to assemble- it came mostly assembled. It did have one small piece of the plastic arm cracked off of it but its very minor just cosmetic damage from im sure shipping it does not bother me what so ever but i have reached out to the company in regards to possibly better packing in the future ? All in all im VERY satisfied considering i looked for weeks for the cheapest most best option for a auto incline treadmill and this was the one. It works great.     • Great while it lasted
I was so happy with the treadmill and said wonderful things about my budget friendly treadmill and would have recommended it 100% until the last 3 days where I don’t know how much longer it’s going to last or if it is a safety hazard. Biggest gripe when I first got it was the incline is not correct. I did some research and incline is a standard measurement across treadmills but for whatever reason this one at max is about 6.5%. A bit of a let down, but not a huge deal for me. Slight squeak when I ran on incline but nothing I was concerned with. Fast forward 9 months later, 3 running challenges later, loved this thing, oiled and maintained before regular intervals, centered my belt, only inside shoes… and it started sounding like a car going through a wind tunnel. I literally thought it was going to malfunction and I might end up hurt. My boyfriend said it smelled funny. Tried to troubleshoot, recentered the belt, and it seemed fine. Get back on and intermittently it sounds awful. There’s another review that says it sounds like a Boeing airplane at 10 months and this is exactly where I’m at. It sounds like a plane and the bottom rumbles a bit. So… I don’t know what the future holds but I have a feeling it’s not good. More afraid it will pose a safety issue than anything else. ... show more
