I have had Topo running shoes before and decided to give the trail shoe a try. I got them a couple days ago and went for a 6 mile hike today without any discomfort that sometimes comes with a new shoe. They have nice arch support and a wide toe box, which I need, but the heel was secure and supportive. They also were really grippy on the soft dirt parts of the downhill trail, so I felt really secure. I bought an 8 which is full size bigger than my normal shoes and they were just right.

these fit so well, I had no breaking in period. The wide foot base and arch support is the topo brand. Not the prettiest looking sneakers with the wide base but your feet will be happy. I'm a nurse on my feet for 12 plus hours a day and my feet are happy, They told me so.

Looked for a pair of shoes to replace the Merrell Antoras that I loved. Merrell changed their design and the new Antoras did not fit well. After trying on at least 5 other brands I found these. I have a wide foot and these fit perfectly. Wore them in Arizona with almost no break in period and had no problems. They worked well on the dusty, rocky trails. I am now a Topo convert.

I love the big toe box, but the zero drop heel hurts. These were recommended to me and I gave them a good college try. I like the look and the foam bottom. The toe box is wide and comfy. But, the heel has two issues. First. it's too big for my heels. I don't think I have especially narrow heels, but these are too big anyway. Second, the zero drop heel is no good. My heels hurt after walking just a few minutes. I tried to wear them longer thinking they might conform to my feet and grow on me over time, but no. They are almost good, but I had to ditch them.

Let me start by saying that I was NOT using them for hiking or running. I walk, but have joint pain and needed a shoe with a lot of cushioning to help absorb impact. I bought the 9W, and it was wide enough for my foot. It felt good pretty much everywhere, and I liked the Vibram grip. I really wanted to keep these. My feet are wide and flat, and it is hard to find a comfortable shoe. Ultimately I had to return them because the right shoe was just a bit too short for me. My 2nd toe is longer than my big toe, and it was scrunched up just a bit (others with a long 2nd toe will understand what I mean!!!). It seemed just a smidge too short, which is unusual because I am reliably a size 9 and never have to size up to a 9.5 unless the shoe runs small. Because it seemed too small by such a minimal amount, I kept the shoes for a couple of weeks. Finally got a blister along the top of my long toe, and I had to admit defeat and submit the return.

I have really bad feet, I wear a brace and have orthotics from the foot doc, have severe foot pain, ankles, knees, hips lower back pain, decided to try these...OMG!! They're SO comfortable!! I'm taking a break from inserts & brace, my feet don't hurt!!! The rest still bother me..but these shoes...love tbem!!!! You have to try them!!!

The media could not be loaded. Great lightweight shoe with good arch support and traction. Nice wide toebox to keep my toes from rubbing and getting ingrown toenails! Before these shoes I just resigned myself to ingrown toenails after wearing althetic shoes....not anymore!!
