This is such a nice bike rack, although not light weight, but very strong for our big 3" tire e-bikes. My 2016 Toyota Rav4 lights were blocked by the bicycles so I bought a set of strong magnetic lights to use so people could know if I was braking or turning. Read reviews though, as some do just fall off, or so I've read. This is easy to install and use. 2 hefty e-bikes fit well. I borrowed a different one once that did not have the capacity to hold our e-bikes, but this one does very well.

I love this bike rack. It's heavy which is a bummer but that was to be expected and they're all heavy. The quality was amazing. We have two heavy e-bikes and it carried them perfectly. They both fit on it easily and the ramp made it sooooooo easy to load and unload. It made it possible for me to do on my own. I also love that you can lock the whole rack onto the towing vehicle. It does not come with a way to lock the bikes on the rack so we used our own locks for that. But it was perfect. Not too much bounce or movement. I was super happy with this rack.

I just installed this so don't know about long term performance. The assembly was easy. The build quality is good and heavy duty. As might be expected, the thing is heavy. I assembled it indoors and then separated the tracks from the rest to keep the weight down while installing in hitch. If I had had some help, would not have needed to do that. But how can you build something this industrial strength and not have it be a bit heavy? Anyway, it holds both my ebikes (WITH BATTERIES) no problem and they were easy to mount with the batteries in using the ramps. Everything is held solid and snug. I have not taken it on a road trip yet, but can't imagine a problem. This is a great rack, particularly with the ramps.

I put it together in 2 hours with help from the videos. Very good quality and fairly heavy (which is a pro) but not too heavy that I can’t lift it off the hitch by myself (female, 127 lbs). Bikes are very stable and all the assembly instructions were great. I’d say the only con is the hitch pin but not a deal breaker for me. The pin requires it to be screwed in with an adjustable wrench but that’s why it is so stable when in transport. A very nice product. Works great with my step through e-bikes! Love it.

Solid build, easy to use ramps. We have two Aventon Pace E-bikes that go on the rack easily. The rack folds up when not in use and will tilt down for easier tailgate access on our pickup truck. The detent mechanism that locks the rack in the loaded position doesn't seem to stay all the way into the detent notch on the "rotating group". (My 4 star Vs 5 star reason) But it does stay in far enough to keep the rack secure. There is a limiting pin that keeps the detent release handle from accidentally activating as a security measure. Removal of the rack from the hitch does require a wrench to remove the threaded, locking, hitch pin. Having a socket wrench set and/or adjustable wrenches is handy for assembly and post use removal. Note: the hardware is metric. The middle support tubes are clamped between "Semicircle Plates" whose friction is controlled by the torque applied to their locking nuts. The installation instructions gives a torque specification for the nuts that holds these tubes. Great info if you have a torque wrench but if not you have to guess. The support tubes need to be in a vertical position to use them then down for folding or storage. I tightened mine so they can be moved into either position but with some force required. Hopefully my arm is calibrated to 50Nm of torque. Overall it looks to be a good product, time and use will tell.

Highly recommended. Awesome rack that was easy to assemble. Held both Adventure 3 bikes steady over hundred of miles traveled. Took the bumps and dips of rural two track roads with no problem. High quality material that was packed and shipped outstandingly. The bonus of the loading ramp made it easy to load and unload the bikes in minutes.

Bike carrier is holding up well. Assembly went well; the only section is where upright bars installed, bolts need to be installed after bars placed into position. Carrier is removed from receiver easily, when in stowed upright position, better leverage. Bolt/ lock to secure to receiver holds carrier very firm in transit.
