This shade did exactly what I purchased it for...blocks view of our hot tub area on our deck. I rated it 5 stars for that reason, however, a couple of issues cause it to verge on 4 in my book. First off, I have a composite deck and I don't trust a screwed down hitch post to last long going into composite. Therefore, either have a wood base under the hitch post or otherwise secure it. I used a wire support attached to an adjacent wall to secure the top and not allow it to move toward the roll side when hitched. Works ok, not the prettiest thing I've ever put together. The other issue is related to the first, this thing could pull you up a ski hill! Its VERY stout when it comes to rolling out and securing to the hitch post. This definitely keeps it taut but if it was adjustable, I would have given it 6 stars! ... show more

The screen does not give you full privacy as you can see through it, but at a distance its not too bad. Please know that the large part that houses the screen must be bolted to a wall or vertical support, the small section that the screen connects to when opened is only screwed into the floor. This section is not very sturdy and will lean back towards the larger section when attached. It is what it is. Luckily I am able to make a bracket for the smaller section as it is near a vertical support. Maybe then I will like this a little more as this will cure the sagging of martial so it stays taught. It's okay but I cannot say it's a great product. ... show more

Very good for quick setup and zoning privacy If you have a need to Open and Close frequently, you will need to learn to work the roller so that it will retract completely without bending the edges or not completely rolling in. Other than that, it is a solid buy for me!

I ordered 3.....they arrived promptly. I had hoped to be able to use them indoors as temporal sun shades. Sadly the frame has to be anchore for safety and functionality. These have not worked for us. We will keep them and hope they will be of use outside....
