Color turned out beautiful and very deep cherry/berry colored. I was hoping for more pink tones but overall it’s vibrant and really pretty. There are def multiple uses in one jar, if you have an undercut and medium length hair like me (or have thin hair) I think this one container would definitely be enough for my hair pre cut but it would not be multiple uses, as I have very thick and wavy hair an it was medium-long. It also left my hair feeling very soft after using it and it smelled neutral to slightly pleasant. The wash out was spectacular with very little color loss after rinsing all the dye and shampooing and conditioning. The water was tinted very light pink when rinsing out the shampoo.

So, it's been a couple of days since I used the Amethyst and Super Blue. I did not bleach my hair at all for this and I have med-dark hair. I've never done anything other than Loreal single color hair color every few years on a whim. 1. Super easy to apply with no foils. I just grabbed locks of hair and colored them one or the other color. They kept separate really well and I haven't noticed any transfer from it. 2. I noticed NO significant odor. Usually I have to do this outside (when using other products) because the odor is really overwhelming. I did this in my bathroom and had zero issues. 3. It turned out GREAT. I was fully expecting the blue to be drowned out by the darker areas, but nope. It's noticeably blue. 4. It rinsed well, but there is some bleeding. HOWEVER, let me repeat that I'm not experienced at this and this could be user error. I've never done this before because of feeling overwhelmed and ignorant. These products are the only reason I tried to do this. I am VERY happy with the results and it's amazing how someone as inexperienced as me can make a plan and then execute that plan completely on my own and it is a great success. I do not feel I could have achieved this using your typical store dyes. My hair feels great and looks AMAZING.

Love this color. It is the perfect purple pink and it easily can be blended with conditioner to lighten it. It lasts for about five shampoos on my bleached hair if I just use a little bit , about a two tablespoon scoop with four tables spoons conditioner blended. It lasts a lot longer and is a lot more vibrant if it’s applied without blending it. It smells nice and is super healthy treatment. Fun color and high quality hair care combo. I’ve tried a lot of semi permanent hair colors and permanent hair products too and this is my top pick for fun colors.

I love the color of this mask especially on my dark hair. It made my fair feel really soft after using however it really washed out and faded fast. I have to reapply once a week and now I am almost out. Wish it lasted in my hair longer

Color: Purple + Pink
I’m someone who has been using semi-permanent dyes (mostly pink, but also orange, purple, and red on occasion) for decades now. So I know they work best on a light blonde starting base, cold water, etc etc. Recently I tried to use another brand’s periwinkle because I wanted to still have a not so natural color, but I wanted to go to something lighter that would blend in better as I get more grays. The pink I had been using (IroIro Neon Pink) would not come all of the way out and the periwinkle wouldn’t take. So I decided to move onto a different pink that might fade better. My 6 year old picked this Purple + Pink Shift for me. I watch Brad’s videos, I why not? Attached is my starting color, day one, and after 3 shampoos. The pros: - It left my hair feeling nice (though to be fair most semi-permanent dyes do that) - The color was so pretty. My hubby walked in while I was dying it and because some of my head was in a natural light and some not, he asked me if it was purple or pink — so yeah it does look different in different lights. - Big container that is full to the brim and easy to get out. So many other colors are much smaller AND in containers where you will never get all of the dye out. Cons: - The price - it is much spendier than any dye I have used before. That said you do get more than any other one I’ve bought and I used much less to coat my hair well. - The biggest con is longevity, which is to say it doesn’t last nearly as long as any other semi-permanent brand I’ve tried and I’ve tried a LOT of them. If you’re someone who changes your hair color a lot, this could be a pro. For me, I am lazy and want it to last, my faded picture was after 3 shampoos. No other semi-permanent pink (or purple) has ever faded that quickly and almost completely that fast. Overall? Great color. I was worried about fragrance as someone with eczema and migraines that can be trigged by fragrances, but this one triggered neither. A little goes a long way so if, like me you have shorter hair, this could last a while even if you have to redo it every few weeks — of if you have longer hair, this tub will probably be enough. If you want to change your color often, it’s worth it. If you want longevity? Look elsewhere.

This product is AWESOME! It came out much a Darker than it would have if I had bleached my hair first. Even though it is dark, it is beautiful and I did expect the darker color. It covered my gray hair beautifully. I did use the entire jar and bought a very wide tooth comb. Using the comb to comb it through gave me amazing coverage, first time ever I didn’t have chunks of missed hair. After using the mask, I jumped in the shower and used cool to slightly warm water, no shampoo and rinsed my hair till no more gray water was coming off. Wrapped my head in a towel and squeezed the excess moisture out. My hair feels SOOO soft and the shine is amazing. Bro my a mask, I know it will wash out in 5-8 shampoos but being in my mid sixties, I don’t need to shampoo everyday. I usually shampoo once a week and do a 10 minute warm water rinse on the days I don’t use the shampoo, keeps my old scalp from being itchy from dryness. This product might seem expensive since to get good even coverage for shoulder length hair, you need to use the entire tub…BUT, your hair feels like it’s never been damaged. If you go to a salon at prices these days, hair my length is about $150+ so paying $28 is a drop in the bucket. I will never go back to box dyes. As a matter of fact, I’ll be trying some of the other hair care products from this brand. I used gloves, but still got the mask on my shoulders, arm, face….just cold water on a paper towel while I was waiting the 20 minutes to rinse took every bit of the color off my skin. Oh, after combing the hair through, I did NOT pile it up on my head. Just let it lay natural on a towel around my shoulders. This product also has a very nice smell.

Color: Blue + Purple
This hair color looks amazing! It looks exactly the same in the jar as it does in my hair! It has a smooth, thick creamy consistency. Ice gown several uses out of the one jar, too; although, I only do the top half of my hair in this color. Despite the darker color (my natural color is light brown), I still had to bleach it first, in order to get the vibrant blue-purple. It's very easy to apply and despite being a semi-permanent (which is usually more of a stain that coats the hair shaft), it did not get all over my skin and clothes or stain my bathroom! In addition, it lasts for a pretty decent length of time. I generally wash my hair every other day, and touch it up a little (no bleach, just apply some more color) every 3 weeks or so. I also recommend putting a shower cap over it, then using a hair dryer to "bake it in," and then leave it on overnight before rinsing for more vibrant and longer-lasting results.
